“We were staying at Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort for the night. After reading reviews for Under the Oak and seeing the pictures, my daughter and I decided to have dinner here. Kathleen provided excellent service, recommendations, and feedback on the questions we had on the menu. We had the meatloaf and creme brulee. Based on Kathleen's feedback on the portion size, we decided to share the meal and dessert. We enjoyed the food and left full. The menu offers a great variety of options for different palates and the atmosphere was quaint in a Bridgerton kind of way.“

“Hadn’t seen this place on any of the lists or Facebook group posts about good restaurants in the area, but it looked delicious. We went for lunch today and it was amazing!! They have the cutest indoor and outdoor dining area. We had a cheeseburger and the Italian club plus 2 kids meals. All the food was hot, fresh, and so good. The homemade cookies included with each meal for dessert were incredible! The service was great. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try some of their take and bake meals!!“

“Earlier today I was extremely hungry, and wanted to try this place, so I came to the mall and got the sampler. I got the buffalo chicken fries, the pizza fries, and the country fries.

The food only took about 5 minutes to come out, and the customer service was good.

Every dish was great. The fries were very flavorful and crispy, and the ingredients used in the dishes were fresh and delicious. Also, the ratio of fries to toppings was perfect. My personal favorite dish was the buffalo chicken fries.

The fries stayed hot more than long enough for me to eat all of it. I saved a small amount of the country fries until about 45 minutes later, and they were still warm enough for it to be good. Usually, fries are inedible after 20-30 minutes.

I’m recommend this place to anybody, as there are so many flavors and the fries can be a meal or snack. The prices are also not bad for the portions you get. I paid $16 for enough food to feed 2-3 adults lunch.

I will be going back often, and I want to try every flavor.“

My brother and sister’s food were not edible and they had me waiting another 30 minutes for my food. My food tasted okay but not worth it. My food had me in the bathroom 3 times.“
