“This place is fantastic. Southern fresh food. All you can eat catfish buffet. It's out of the way, friendly and armed lol (dude, it's the south). The yams are delicious. The catfish is fresh and has 0 fish taste. For any city slicker , this is a must see. We visited in 2022. It's also called "one mile catfish house"“

“We were traveling from Ohio back to our home in Louisiana and wanted to eat lunch at a local diner and I found Rick’s Diner on Google. The food was really good. My husband had the Nasty Burger and I had the Philly Steak. Mr. Rick and Mrs. Geraldine were the sweetest and provided the best service. They both showed a passion for their diner and their community. I highly recommend Rick’s Diner. We will stop by again when traveling this way.
Also, two other positive impressions were when two young adults came in separately and showing respect addressed the patrons and Mrs. Geraldine and said yes ma’am to her and while the diner may be older, both the diner and restroom were very clean and tastefully decorated for the Fall. We felt very welcomed.“
