“Nice Family place, appears to be newly opened. Had the fried fish with sides of Fries and Coleslaw. Fish (Catfish) was crispy outside, battered with a cornmeal batter, inside was light and flaky. Fries were fresh, Coleslaw dressing was good, however a little thick. Staff came by several times to see if we needed anything. there is a playground for the kids, and a gift shop for adults.“
“This is a very simple place. The catfish is good. I also love the boiled shrimp. My husband likes the oysters. Coleslaw is good and you can get a baked potato at no extra charge. Their tartar sauce is excellent too. Most servers are nice and friendly. One or two not so much. One kind of seems like she doesn’t want to be there or waiting on tables. I’m not sure. They also have steak. I’ve had it and it was pretty good. We like coming here. It’s real laid back and country like. It’s way out of town too. We eat here every now and then. It’s very relaxed.“
“The food was good. Catfish was fresh and delicious. They bring you a bowl of coleslaw, hush puppies and a bowl with a big piece of raw onion with lemons. Did get the raw onion part and it was too thick for me to eat. However definitely will be back when I come to Mississippi. The only thing negative is that they only take cash.“
“Food was really good. We order fish and shrimp combo plate. Seasoned great and came out hot. Our sides were homemade onion rings, mixed greens(turnips and mustard) and coleslaw. Highly recommend. Service was great and the owner treated us to ice cream for dessert.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Great kid plate options.“
“I've been eating here for a long time & I have Never had a bad experience. The food is Always Hot & Fresh and the Service is superior. The prices are fair and if you don't get here early then good luck. Last Dragon fills up quickly especially on a weekend.“
“We ate a late lunch here on the recommendation of some local folks. Great food and really good people. The hamburger steak was fantastic and my wife got the chicken fried steak which was also good. You could probably order anything off the menu and it’d be great.“
“What a gem--whole fried fresh catfish cooked to perfection! The fried mushroom appetizer was yum--with so many mushrooms! They have a varied selection of seafood and the wait staff was first rate! Though not a huge dining space, it was clean, family-friendly and very enjoyable. Again, it was a place where locals dined and came for take-out!“
“My mom and I are visiting from Florida for the Hattiesburg 1/2 marathon and this place was recommended to us by the AT&T store manager in Midtown Hattiesburg. We are so glad we did! Sam our server did such an exceptional job making sure our dietary needs were covered. Mom and I are gluten sensitive and so can have a difficult time eating southern food, especially battered food, so when we found out that they use corn flour for their jumbo shrimp, we asked about the fried green tomatoes. Score!! They made it with cornmeal and no wheat flour with the best sauce! So glad we came. The ambiance, the food, and the service. Top notch!“
“The ribs are fall-off-the bone tender. The catfish plate includes EIGHT filets, so it is a ton of catfish and the fish is light and fluffy. The potato salad is delicious and bacon-ey. Food was delivered quickly. There is both inside and outside seating. They even gave me a free large tea. We will be back!“
