“Our party of eight (8) reserved online to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and Kayla (her name I think) provided superb service. She demonstrated the most courteous attentiveness to our table from beginning to the time we left! We had the cheese and sausage plate along with another appetizer before getting our entrees, which everyone agreed upon being delicious.“

“Ok, while this isn't a 3 Star Michelin restaurant, it's pretty damn good. It's slightly difficult to find but all you have to do is ask pretty much anyone in town. I got the bacon cheeseburger and fries which was super tasty, extremely fresh and obviously not a frozen burger patty. I ended up using a fork and eating it more like a hamburger steak. Fries were hot, fresh and cooked correctly. Yes the atmosphere is less than modern, but it's a diner. The counter sales lady was sweet, helpful and downright nice. Food was great and I will definitely stop in again if I'm passing by at lunch. Please support this local restaurant, they are wonderful.“

“On Feb-24-26 I had a wonderful dining experience here at Ember Oaks. It was my 49th birthday me and my boyfriend didn't know where to go for some good lamb chops. Well this place did not disappoint. From the customer service to the food and our waiter (Tyler). I was so happy. The live saxophonist was beautiful as well. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to dine and unwind.!!!“

“LongHorn Steakhouse has always been one of those dependable spots where you expect a hearty meal and a relaxed atmosphere. Our recent visit had a few bumps in the road, but it still managed to be an entertaining experience—thanks largely to the bartender, Michelle.

To be fair, we did come in about an hour before closing, which is never the easiest time for any kitchen. Unfortunately, my meal arrived a little colder than expected, and my wife’s lamb chops were… well… let’s just say they were still auditioning to return to the pasture. It happens, especially late in the evening, so we tried to take it in stride and keep the mood light.

Now here’s where the evening turned memorable.

Michelle, the bartender, absolutely carried the night. From the moment we sat down, her energy was infectious. She was upbeat, engaging, and clearly working hard to keep everyone happy as the night wound down. At one point we even heard her passionately advocating on our behalf to the kitchen staff—which, honestly, was both impressive and a little hilarious. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure guests had a good experience, even when things behind the scenes weren’t going perfectly.

Her enthusiasm turned what could have been a frustrating dinner into a genuinely funny and enjoyable evening. Good service can completely change the tone of a visit, and Michelle proved that.

So while the food may have missed the mark this time, the hospitality did not. We’ll definitely give LongHorn another shot—and next time, we’ll probably just sit at the bar and let Michelle run the show again.“
