“This is a tough one to review for me. We came on Thanksgiving evening. I appreciate any restaurant that is open and definitely appreciate any employee working on Thanksgiving. Every person we encountered was very friendly. Our server - God love her - she was not too good. Communication with her was difficult. She spoke quietly. She enunciated words in such a way as to give us a fun challenge. She didn't answer questions. She refused to listen to the way we wanted our steaks prepared. We had to ask for things like napkins and refills. Honestly, at the start of the meal, I was picturing a 1 or 2 star review. But, gosh darn it! She tried!!! She was friendly. And the meal? Not bad! My steak was actually pretty tasty! The mashed potatoes were decent. The broccoli was meh, bland. All in all, I'm giving stars for - albeit not great - service. You know the saying A for effort. Well this is 4 stars for effort.“
“Drinks are too cold, tables play too well, too many easy money games walking around barking, food selection is too diverse to make a choice in reasonable time frame, the tournaments payout too much.I'd rather spend way more for less appealing entertainment options elsewhere.?♂️“
“Came in and the ballgames were on. Music was great. Not over powering. Bar was full and everyone was having a ball. The bartender Sam was doing a fantastic job keeping the glasses full and the bottles served. Really good place on a Sunday to kick back and chill.“
“I enjoyed some simple cheese enchiladas tonight. I started off with the street corn, which was pretty good. However, $7 was a bit steep in my opinion for what little corn you get in a bowl. Sadly, corn must be hard to find these days since it’s expensive back in Dallas too. Go figure. The atmosphere was nothing special. The hostess took a bit of time to get me seated. It’s a little surprising no one helps, but just stands there watching. The guacamole bar lady just stood there a few feet while people were standing waiting to be seated. Some of the best restaurants are the ones where everyone works together as a team. The waiter could have shown a little more involvement. When I asked about certain items, he acted as if he had no clue. That’s why service was three stars. They lost a sale of a bowl of queso since he didn’t even try to sell me on a choice. Most likely I’ll be back, but not for any particular reason.“
“The Getaway is a Laid back chill spot you can watch the game on one of many flat-screens, it's a pool hall so plenty smoke such as cigarettes, vapes and cigars.. The food was good and they do serve beer, clubtails and coolers... If your in the Perkins/Winchester area stop by and check it out..“
“Great food. Small selection, but the right selection for quick meals.Vegetarian options: Salads available.Dietary restrictions: Salads available.Parking: Self parking, $10, Valet parking $15.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of children. Lots of selections for kids.“
“This is my favorite place to go on a Sunday or for a big game. It's has a great laid back atmosphere. The bartenders are so personable and pay attention to their customers. I have never had to flag someone down or try to get their attention. Lindsey is the best- funny and always has a great anticdote or statement to add to the conversation.Ive never had bad food, and I've been several times. Their burgers might be my favorite, but the biscuits and gravy at Sunday brunch are the best I've had.Highly recommend.“
“This place is amazing. The food is great the atmosphere and vibe was very welcoming. All the Hooters girls are amazing and nice, they also greet you. It's good but it also hurts my demons and makes me feel guilty about the bad person I am lol. I think for me right now I will go to the Hooters in downtown Memphis.“
