Freshest sushi in town. Great menu. Fun atmosphere.
Just wanted to give a shout-out to Sakura Bana. I grew up in Jackson and moved away in adulthood but still visit from time to time. Sakura Bana is always a favorite of our family's when I'm back in town. They have been a consistent part of the community literally for decades and for good reason. Their food is good, but more importantly, they always have great service. I hope to keep coming back for decades more into the future.

Sakura Bana is a must-visit restaurant for the best sushi and food ever. The staff, especially Nathan, is accommodating with diet restrictions and special requests, making the experience friendly and helpful. The place is known for its consistently good quality and service, with fresh sushi and lunch box/bento box offering superb value. The handrolled eggrolls are a must-try, although they take some time, they are worth the wait. The shrimp Kodiak, spicy shrimp, and dynamite roll are highly recommended, as well as appetizers like shrimp lagoon, beef negima, and gyoza. Don't miss out on the secret menu items like Pork Ramen, Natto Roll, Ankimo, and unique sushi options like tobiko with Cornish hen eggs.
