“This location is the best! In the middle of bad weather, I raced to this restaurant to pick up my order I called in. This location closes at 9:30. I pulled up to door at 9:29 in the middle of a storm. The worker saw me pull up and came out to my car with an umbrella and walked me to the door. I apologized for coming so late and paid for my order. The worker was so friendly and kind to me the whole time. Walking out of the restaurant, she said “Let me help.” She grabbed the umbrella again and walked me to my car. I know this may not mean much to some, but this is one of the nicest things that happened to me this year! Also, my order was correct and the food was amazing! Thank you sooo much! ♥️“

“I was too busy eating, so I only took 2 pictures.
Food was great. I asked for the Spicy chicken ramen to be extra spicy, and it was exactly how I wanted. Tuna and yellow tail sashimi were also on point. My husband ordered scallop hibachi, and the scallops were actually pretty big. The out-of-control sushi roll was delicious. It has a really good kick. Our waitress checked up on us 4 or 5 times while we were there. Great family atmosphere for dinner!“

“Mikado is a Japanese restaurant. To my knowledge they specialize in hibachi or at least that's what I've had from there. The food was decent the service was good. The atmosphere was nice. Prices are acceptable. Not the best hibachi I ever had but definitely not the worst. I would have it again if in the area and in the mood for hibachi“

We were passing through and had a delicious dinner. Actually, we ordered one dinner that was enough for us to share and had leftovers, too. We ordered a filet and chicken stir fry and asked to add broccoli . The meat was tender and the seasoning and flavors just right. Give it a try. The service was great, the prices reasonable, and the food was delicious, with generous portions.“

I’m not sure why every sushi restaurant in this city needs to add cucumber or avocado to every roll in some way… don’t fight me, but I don’t believe it’s necessary. “Food was great today. Very fresh and steak very tender. Got shrimp udon noodles and my husband had steak, shrimp, and chicken hibachi. Also got the California roll and some edamame. “This location speaks for itself. OEC is known for quality service and great Japanese and Chinese dishes. This one is no different and the proof is in the fact it is off the main street on a side street at the back of a strip mall that doesn't even face the street and yet they have survived there for years with no advertisement but word of mouth. “Great dinner stop. We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for some hibachi. The young lady behind the counter was great. She was a great listner, knew the menu and options. Food was fresh, all orders correct and the meal hit the spot. There were a number of dinner combinations. Tonight we had shrimp/steak hibachi, shrimp and chicken hibachi, shrimp and scallop hibachi and shrimp hibachi. Every meal was delicious. We would definitely return to this location.“

“It’s a super small area however they have it blacked out and it’s just a cute atmosphere not the biggest or best but very entertaining. But over everything the food is absolutely amazing. I used to have to drive to Flowood Jackson to get good hibachi but now it’s right here in the heart of pearl.“
