“I had heard that the mermaid cafe was a nice little restaurant for the Lake Caroline neighborhood where you could get a nice hamburger. I was pleasantly surprised at my culinary experience. I had some of the best red fish that I have ever had and my friend said the same about the fillet. The only thing that exceeded the food was the courtesy from the staff. Highly recommend it“

“I come here all the time. The service is great, and my order is usually right. Even if they don't get my order perfect, the baristas here are always super sweet and willing to fix it. Bonus: they answer all the questions that I have with smiles, and that is very much appreciated.“

“Love this place! How did I not know this cute little boba shop existed until yesterday?! My sister and I paid a visit while we were in from out of town, and we both enjoyed our experience. We each ordered a Creme Brulee Wild Boba Tea and it was exceptional! For anyone who may be apprehensive about the cheese foam they put on top of the milkteas, I promise it is soooooo good; it's like drinking a cheesecake! ? The employee who helped us could tell it was our first visit and she was immensely helpful. I can't wait to come back to try the delicious sounding coffee beverages! 10/10 would recommend, PLEASE go here instead of Ice's Corner if you're looking for boba in Flowood. “I can’t say enough good things about the staff—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and hardworking. multitasking constantly, I never once saw anyone on their phone—they were fully focused on doing their jobs, and doing them well. If you were working the night shift around 5:30–6:30, thank you for your dedication and kindness! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The broccoli and rice casserole was packed with flavor, the Mexican cornbread was phenomenal, and the chicken on a stick was hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“This place has great doughnuts! I tried a square one that had blueberry and cream cheese filling, and it also was glazed and had powdered sugar on top of it. That was probably the best doughnut I’ve ever eaten. They also have really good cinnamon rolls and really good boudin kolaches. They are super busy on Sunday so if you go then it might take a while.“

“Fantasia is FANTASTIC! She anticipated our needs. She made sure we were informed at every stage of our visit. She answered questions we didn’t know we needed to ask. Servers all over could learn something from her.

Now, the lack of reservations and long wait diminished the experience, but Fantasia was so good, she holds up the rating.“

“Stopped for a late lunch at Panera bread. The sandwich that I got chicken bacon rancher was outstanding. I asked for it to be extra crispy toasted and it was hot and wonderful. My wife got a sandwich and soup. I think broccoli she said it was really good. The atmosphere is a little bit dark, but I think that’s by design. If you’re a college student who wants to spend hours in there looking at your laptop, this is the place for you. When we are in the Jackson area, we will eat there again.“

“The best coffee shop in all of Jackson. Beautiful latte art, wonderfully poured shots of espresso. Great, fresh, locally roasted coffee beans. Friendly service that's not snooty, but knows what they're talking about. Comfortable atmosphere with lots of seating. Couldn't ask for a better place to have a cup of coffee.“
