“These folks are DA’ BEST!!!! I stopped on Saturday, May 23 to pickup a couple of items. In my haste, I inadvertently left 1 of my 2 bags on the counter. I’d paid with cash, so they had no way of tracking ne down to. notify me as they approached closing time. HOWEVER, they put my bag aside in a freezer to hold it, knowing that I’d return at some point. Because they knew my face (not my first trip there), they instantly recognized me and retrieved my forgotten bag. I then sampled a few other things and ended up walking out with even MORE bags of goods! The icing is that, while not really a “regular” (maybe once every 3 or 4 months), I’ve never had ANYTHING from Nick’s that didn’t totally impress me. I don’t write reviews often, but couldn’t resist the opportunity to drop this one! If ya’ like to eat, try Nick’s Meat! You definitely won’t be sorry!”

“This is my hometown! I moved to Flora, MS about 16 years ago, but have never missed a day thinking about how much I miss home. This restaurant is a big part of what I miss! This food was my comfort food!! I wish I could make a second location here!!!!! We colud call it Betty K's North!!! The Chili Buns CANNOT BE slept on! And the taco salad!!! “Paul’s pastry did such an excellent job bringing my vision to life for my wedding. The cake was absolutely beautiful. It was seriously the best cake I’ve ever put in my mouth.

Tiffany was wonderful with coordinating exactly what I requested and even handled me changing my mind on multiple occasions very well! They made the process seamless. My fiancé was unable to make the cake tasting due to work and she allowed me to bring some home for him to try before making my decision which was absolutely wonderful as he was disappointed not being able to make it. We value Paul’s pastry and it’s staff so much after this experience.

So many people from the wedding are still talking about how tasty and beautiful the cake was. I cannot rave about it enough and will be sure to recommend it to every bride I know!”

We dined in earlier in the week and I tried their fried rice it was SO GOOD I had to get a catering order of it today to share with the extended family! “I would only recommend this restaurant because their seafood was marginally good definitely had a head better and other locally on restaurants in Picayune The service left a lot to be desired. There was a reservation for 18 people, and we were squeezed in a very small corner. They were asked to give us more space and when I were unable to accommodate, which made our seating arrangement, very difficult and tight and uncomfortable The weight staff was fair. They never came around and refilled any I believe we all tipped accordingly. And usually, I’m a great tipper overall, it was a fair experience probably won’t be back. Maybe when you have a reservation ahead of time for a large group, you could make them more comfortable. There was plenty of room. Overall, it was a disappointment”

30 minutes after delivery the hot & sour soup still burned my palette, and was plentiful with mushrooms.

All dishes were well-seasoned and the orange chicken (yes, I know it’s Americanized and not authentic), with large chunks of orange peel, was some of the best I’ve had anywhere across the US. My order of “crab” & cheese wontons included 8 pieces at the price where most similar restaurants only include 6.

They also added a free eggroll and provided plenty of sweet & sour sauce.

In sum, this is likely the best Americanized Chinese restaurant I’ve ordered from, and will certainly order again”
