“I'm only here in the area on internship, so one of my missions is to try as many unique places as I can. This was a delicious breakfast that did not dissappoint. I was greeted promptly and offered a seat at the bar, and while I didn't order any special drinks, the bartender was very nice and made sure I had enough water to drink.
I ordered the Broken Egg Biscuit, which was the right choice - a delicious biscuit that exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this location.“

“I went with my boyfriend yesterday and it was so welcoming. I can't remember the name of the lady who checked us out 😭 but she was soooo nice and super helpful with helping us choose. My boyfriend got this chocolate milkshake that was so tasty he can't stop thinking about it and I got the mango Boba with lemonade instead of milk tea, and DUDE so good. My boyfriend and i shared a korean corn dog, half cheese half sausage, also very good. 10/10 recommend“

“I had heard that the mermaid cafe was a nice little restaurant for the Lake Caroline neighborhood where you could get a nice hamburger. I was pleasantly surprised at my culinary experience. I had some of the best red fish that I have ever had and my friend said the same about the fillet. The only thing that exceeded the food was the courtesy from the staff. Highly recommend it“

“The staff at Beagle Bagel really came through for me today. I’ve been battling illness this week, and the only thing I wanted was their famous cheese soup! I called to see which fresh soup they made today, and unfortunately, It wasn’t cheese-soup day. Only a moment later, I received a call back and the same gentleman said he had checked the kitchen and there was leftover cheese-soup from the day before. I was thrilled! He literally saved my day. I wish I had caught his name, but I am very grateful. Thank you!“

“I can’t say enough good things about the staff—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and hardworking. multitasking constantly, I never once saw anyone on their phone—they were fully focused on doing their jobs, and doing them well. If you were working the night shift around 5:30–6:30, thank you for your dedication and kindness! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The broccoli and rice casserole was packed with flavor, the Mexican cornbread was phenomenal, and the chicken on a stick was hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“This establishment has been serving the Fondren neighborhood in Jackson,MS for ten years or more. I enjoy stopping there when I am in the neighborhood. There use to be a good health food store next door. I usually have Captain Gabriel, which is there brand using chocolate. The cafe is also divided up into sections where in one of them you can study and listen to the music separate from the rest of the customers. There are also books to read and good art.“

“I'm not a coffee drinker, but I play one on TV. Service was great during my visit. The coffee drinkers really enjoyed their coffee and I enjoyed my hot chocolate. I wished my hot chocolate was a little warmer, but otherwise the taste was very good. I'd recommend the shop for your coffee needs. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.“
