“We always look for non chain places to eat. Spotted this place and saw there was truck parking a short walk away. The older gentleman that was at register was the sweetest and took the time to help us order since we had never been before. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely stop again if we are in the area.“

“This is a great restaurant! We've returned time and time again. The owner, when we go on Sundays, is always there. He makes it a point to get to know his repeat customers and remember their names, coming out of the kitchen to check how your meal was and to make light conversation. I always thought that was really nice of him, as busy as he must be. The rest of his staff are always very friendly as well. His store is clean and always well stocked, I don't believe we've ever been told "sorry we're all out" I'm sure it does happen from time to time and maybe we've been lucky but my family has been coming here for years and it just simply has not happened to us. I think this speaks to the management's dedication and attention to detail!. When a restaurant's food and service is questionable, we simply do not return. That's never been the case with Laurel's Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. If it were in the future, our past experiences here would warrant notifying the manager, as we know he would rectify the situation. We have yet to find this necessary. Keep up the great work, guys!“

“I loved Ward's! My family and I are traveling and we stopped. Food was great, very fast service.
Although the service was not very kind. Now I will give them credit, we arrived around 8. 1 hour before they closed, so of course they were ready to go. They were pretty good other than that. The building definitely could be updated in the inside. The walls were missing paint and the doors were hard to open. The were just heavy or something. I love the vintage style in there. Very original.“

“I’m a truck driver, traveling from New Orleans, I stopped by Hardee’s the three ladies they greeted me very nicely. The restaurant was very clean and I couldn’t believe the general manager was on night shift. That’s says a lot about management and customer service. The food was fresh and my cashier Amber was very nice and her smile lit up the room. I will definitely return to Hardees on Chantilly Street“

“This is the best Chick-Fil-A I have been to. I do not live in Laurel, I am 6 1/2 hours away. I drive through Laurel twice a year. coming back from Round Top, TX. Evey time, I stop at this Chick-Fil-A. The food is always good, warm, fresh. The personnel is always very professional, kind, friendly, helpful. I had the pleasure to meet the owner yesterday. I have to say she is not afraid of rolling up her sleeves. There was a lot of traffic around Chick-Fil-A and she was outside, directing traffic and bringing food to the cars of her customers to make the line flow better and faster. She was doing all this with a beautiful smile. If she remembers me (we talked about antiques at Round Top, TX), I say hi and I congratulate her for a shop so well run.“

“I love whoppers. This Burger King has great workers. It is rare to find kindness and intelligence in a fast food restaurant. I can get what I love and feed my sister and daughter for $12 with everyday deals. And leave with a smile. If I ask a question I get an intelligent answer not a zombie stare.

Kid-friendliness: My niece loves her meal and her toy. Burger King toys for the most part can become favorites and last for years. We have several that have been played with for 28 years plus.

Dietary restrictions: I am highly allergic to soy. I need 100% beef. I was so worried about cross contamination with the new vegetarian meals. So far no problems. I get to enjoy my Whopper.“

“We used to not always order from here, but after the last three times we definitely will only order from here. The workers can make a sandwich! As in they put tons and the right amount on your sandwich. When ordering online if you don’t see what you know they might have in their store just write it in the notes, and they’ll get it for you! They unfortunately don’t have baked BBQ chips online- my favorite, but they do in the store. So I asked them if they could replace them and they happily did! It’s not just this one time thing, either. They do this each and every time with the sandwiches, chips, etc.“
