“We've visited Spuds Etc on two occasions. We are familiar with the owner/cook and server from another restaurant. We have been very pleased with the food we've ordered. I think most of the items are homemade. I esp. love their fries, but some of the items are too spicy for my taste (probably just fine for others). As others have mentioned, there is only one cook and one server, so be prepared for service to be a bit slower than you'd expect. So if you're not in a hurry and have some time, stop by and enjoy the simple, friendly atmosphere.“

“I don’t know why no one has mentioned their steaks, but they were great! I was worried about getting Amtrak because all of the reviews were about the pizza. But all of us had steak and no one was disappointed. We had a table of 10 and the restaurant was PACKED but our waitress was wonderful. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Tunica.“

“We got to our hotel late and stumbled into the nearest place for food. Great luck for us! This place has a ton of character (no pun intended) and the burgers are amazing! It has a limited menu (burgers and wings) but they do both well! We toured Jordan and stopped in again when we got back to Amman! I can’t recommend this place enough!!“

“We love, love, love this place!! We have never, ever gotten a bad food item from this place!! Everything is cooked fresh and tastes great! Never had a bad customer service experience, either. All the ladies up front are always nice and helpful and even the cooks have spoken to us from the kitchen a few times. Both of their Phillies are a must try! This is our go to spot anytime we visit.“

“Restaurant Review: To-Go Order I recently ordered takeout from a local restaurant and wanted to share my experience. Catfish: The catfish was excellent! It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection, making it a standout dish. Fries: The fries were freshly cut, fried, and well-seasoned. They were crispy and delicious, complementing the meal nicely. Coleslaw: The coleslaw had great flavor, but the texture left something to be desired. It was too watery and not creamy enough for my taste. Okra: Unfortunately, the fried okra was a letdown. It was fried soft and lacked any seasoning, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering it unless this is your preference. Hushpuppies: The hushpuppies were by far the highlight of the meal! They were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. Overall, while there were a few misses, the catfish and hushpuppies made the order worthwhile!“

“We go there every year to celebrate a friend's birthday and we stay at Sam's Town where Twain's is located. We've never had a bad experience. We were there this past weekend and the service was superb. Friendly servers, excellent host, and delicious food. The server came around often without being intrusive and was very friendly. We had a very laid back experience with informal formality. My steak was perfectly cooked, the bread and salad were delicious, and I was so full I couldn't eat dessert! I always look forward to dining there to celebrate my friend's birthday.“
