“My husband and I played The Preserve on Friday, October 11, 2019 and was warmly greeted with a smile from Skip and Ron. The preserve is a beautiful course and our favorite on the Coast. Upon completion of our round, I realized I had lost a ring somewhere around our car as we were loading the clubs onto the cart or near the practice range. Just a few minutes after I discovered I had lost the ring, Ron drove up to help get our clubs into our vehicle and inquired about our round. I told him it was wonderful except I had lost a ring. He said the ring was no longer lost because he had found it near the practice range and it was in the pro shop. The service at the course is always excellent but Ron’s friendliness and honesty was top notch. Please convey our gratefulness to Ron and our thanks to Skip for our wonderful, warm experience there.”

“I drive a good way out of my way for breakfast at the Vancleave location most days. I will continue to do so because the morning crew here are awesome! They are friendly, professional and have great customer service skills. This crew is always smiling and greeting customers as they come in. The restaurant is always clean or someone is doing tasks to make it that way. My food is always hot and delicious! Thank you, Gigi, Mary, Amanda, Shannon, Karen and Jessie! Great job!!”

“Been here twice. First visit, on a slow weekday in October, sat outside, beautiful weather, & we both got the salad with 2 fried apple rings that were delicious!! Decided to go back on the Sat of the arts & crafts festival, Oct 8th, and it was the wrong time to go! Restaurant was packed, whole outside lined up with people buying alcoholic drinks, floor all wet, & hard to get in. After being seated, we ordered & got our salads, which were half the size of what they were the 1st time, with only ONE apple ring. When we asked about this, a young woman said it was because of the volume of crowd they were trying to serve, so i asked why they weren't compensating a little on the price? She didn't like that, & said she'd see what she could do. Twenty minutes later, she came by with 2 fried apple rings, swiftly threw them on the table, never looked or said a word, then ran off. She was so rude about it, it was awful! I hope if we go back, we never get HER for service!!!”

The flavor was second to none! But what truly set Lacey apart was her outstanding customer service. I made a mistake and entered the wrong date for the cake pickup. When I reached out the day before the party just to confirm the order, I realized (to my horror) that I had scheduled it for the following week. Despite the short notice, Lacey went above and beyond—she put other plans on hold to accommodate my urgent request. I was beyond grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help me fix a mistake that could’ve ruined our celebration. Thanks so much, Lacey’s Cakes! Tried them tonight for the first time and not only was the food incredible but Lisa our server was so friendly and sweet. Helped us navigate the extensive menu and had amazing energy the whole time! 100/10 recommend, it is the perfect Family restaurant and I look forward to eating there again soon!”
