A great restaurant with great food, a unique ambiance, and an excellent location. The log-built restaurant has a great and varied menu. The open, well-lit kitchen was impeccable, with a pizza oven and grilling ranges, etc. I had the 8 once filet, which was the best I have had in a long time. The food here was good but it was not as fancy as the website made it seem. Staff was friendly but wearing t shirts, not quite the ambiance we wanted for a date night. I also took a star off because the menu on the website is completely different from the one we were given. We wanted to try the elk meatballs, the New York strip, the Tuscan cream pasta, and the beignet gems. Literally zero of these items were available to order.
