“Amazing!!
My family and I stopped by for breakfast, and everything was delicious. Authentic regional food w/roots from Veracruz. Staff was friendly and attentive-a family operated restaurant. We ordered breakfast; chorizo w/eggs, huevos rancheros, quesadillas, barbacoa, and carnita tacos. All was flavorful! Undoubtedly, I MUST TRY!!!“

“We enjoyed several meals here during our week long stay. Every one was delicious with highlights being the extraordinary chili relleno and a very authentic cochinita pibil. Also high marks to the mole sauce which we enjoyed quite a lot also. “One of the friendliest places right near akumal, and it's not a tourist trap at all. Very delicious food, well prepared meats, clean, and the salsa hot sauces were fresh, unique and amazing. Great prices great food and really a great find. Ate there twice got breakfast burritos and coffee and everything was great!!!

Kid-friendliness: The waitress was fantastic when my kids needed to go to the bathroom she brought them upstairs. And little known fact when you go upstairs to the bathroom they actually have a room full of parrots right off of the balcony, beautiful birds really healthy well fed and well kept and the kids had a great time checking out the birds. The bathroom was also clean and will lit.“

“Fantastic food and drinks, large portions and extremely friendly and hardworking staff. Fun music too! Ceviche mixto, chicken fajita, and chicken nachos were all so yummy, and the limonada very refreshing for the kiddos! The chipotle hot sauce is SO good!“

“Had my first quesadilla in Mexico here, absolutely delicious ! They did vegetarian too. Very helpful and friendly. I wish I had of been hungrier to eat more, it was so good. Quesadilla was 40 pesos.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Quesadilla was delicious, has broccoli, carrot, cheese etc seasoning was lovely. They also did vegetarian tacos and burritos.“

Parking: Several parking spaces so not a problem. Get your voucher stamped and it’s about $1 US.“

“We went here twice on our trip to Akumal. The food was great both times. I got the shrimp cooked in butter and garlic. It the best shrimp I've ever had. The waiter was friendly and spoke English. It was the best food we had on our trip.“

Bartenders Charlie and Rebecca are amazing and super friendly but staff is a rotation of folks who come and go based on the Turtle season and high season. The beach in front of BB is nice and sandy compared to some areas.“
