“The food was excellent and the environment very nice.
The waiters were all very kind, Jorge and Sara served us with a smile and were attentive to everything.
We were also served an extra plate offered due to the slight delay in serving our meals, which was a very welcome gesture.
In conclusion, I recommend it!“

“First off I forgot to take pictures of the food.I ordered the molcajete it was good. The tortillas are great. The lemonade was good too. The reason for the less than 5 stars, it was a bit overpriced. The michelada was ok.Not sure but it was $80 for 2 dinners and 2 beers, too included, thought that was strange/ differentServers were very nice and attentive.“

I loved the chilaquiles with the honey sea sauce, very delicious.
The bread is warm and very delicious.“
“We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The customer service is fast and some servers do speak/understand Spanish for anyone who doesn't speak Spanish. Our server was BLAS. He was very friendly and quick to assist. The guacamole is one of the best I've had. You can't go wrong with a soup if your feeling under the weather( i had a cold while on this trip) we ordered the tacos, burrito, consome de pollo soup all was great! My husband had the flan and he was raving how its the best he's ever had! We did have the churros and a plantain with chocolate sauce. We were so happy we spotted this place in passing and got to try it. We will stop here again as the this was a excellent experience for our family.“

“I loved this place so much the first time that I had to stop by a second before leaving Cancún! The staff that included Gener, Guadalupe, and filemon went above and beyond making sure my glasses were full, checking to see if I needed refills on salsa, chips, and bread, and coming by to make sure the food was to my expectations. I was able to try both the steak and the mixed fajitas and they were both amazing. The Mexican appetizer had everything I wanted to try. The strawberry margarita was the best I’ve ever had, and the flan was outstanding. The live band and decor made the restaurant so unique. If you’re looking for an authentic restaurant with a good time, this is the spot!“

“Excellent attention, service and food, the latter with very good seasoning, they use a variety of ingredients, so you have to ask, for example the stuffed steak that included blue cheese, gouda, parmesan and cream cheese, which at first may seem salty or strong, knowing what products they are, you recognize where the flavor comes from, very delicious by the way, by suggestion ask... access to the beach (public) which is small but very nice and clean, access to the beach is closed at 17:00 hrs. On one side is the Ferry to go to Isla Mujeres and the entrance is between the RIU and Fiesta Americana!“
“One of my favorite spot while in Cancun. The menu is a little bit pricier than the other vendor but it comes with quality. I paid 430MXN for my shrimp (which is fresh and perfectly seasoned) and a drink.Food is made by order so be expect waiting time for your dishes.“

“The food was absolutely delicious! If you're in town, definitely a great place to visit. We stumbled upon this gem on our walk from the R1 stop in Puerto Juarez (under the bridge) to Puerto Juarez boat docks. It was a lively, vibrant atmosphere that lured us in with it's delicious aromas. The chilaquiles were *chefs kiss*!“

“We ordered a meat in its juice and some barbacoa tacos, both were oversalted; some quesadillas and some asada tacos that were better. The attention of the waiters somewhat distracted, inattentive at times; They ask you to take an online survey in exchange for a little jar of prepared squirt, nothing special. The atmosphere is good, good air conditioning and ranchera music or music from the Solis era, very favorable. Because of its origins I can say that Las Torres' "Meats in its Juice" are excellent in Guadalajara, perhaps it was a matter of the moment but it is worth trying this offer from Jalisco in Cancun.
Parking: This place has a parking lot in front, not many available but other places may appear in the surroundings.
Kid-friendliness: They have a play area for children, Samantha, the person in charge, is very friendly.“

The place is very intimate, natural, very beautiful and romantic
The pizza is delicious, the portion can be shared between 2, accompanied by an appetizer so that you are satisfied
They have mosquito repellent, although it is normal that there is one due to the type of space that is so natural.
The service was pleasant and the food came out quickly.“

“We were around and looked for reviews of restaurants around, and what a surprise!!!
La Bamba is truly a gem and worth every star! The ceviche was spectacular and the tuna tartar was phenomenal! All the dishes we ate were incredible!
If you're unsure of where to eat, don't be afraid, as everything was really fantastic, from the service (super calm and peaceful, but not overpowering) to the delicious dishes! We liked it so much that even though we are staying at an all-inclusive, we are considering going back!
We ordered crunchy prawns (5 pieces), fish cerviche, tuna tartare, spicy tuna tostada and jamon croquettes! Everything wonderful!
The price is also super fair! Definitely a mandatory stop in Cancun!! You won't regret it!“

“Are you a tourist looking for somewhere to grab some food tonight? Say no more fam. The build your own taco/burrito here is affordable and truly delicious. Menu in English is very helpful. Food took some time but was so worth it. Seating is only outside - so consider getting to go or be ready to be rather warm while you eat. Food is A+ though and service is good.“

“We checked out Xkat-ik on a whim as we're looking at vow renewal locations for a future celebration. We were grateful we did and were lucky to meet the owner. We reviewed several options that the venue offers including tastings of some traditional Mayan dishes. The spot is beautiful looking over the lagoon with perfect sunset views. For the food... the Mayan dishes tastes were incredible! Very flavorful!! If we choose to move forward with Xkat-ik we will 100% put all on them on our celebration's menu! Highly recommend stepping away from all the all inclusive resorts and stopping in to get a delicious flavor of Mayan cuisine!“

“Here is your place to eat gorditas. The flavor is always the same, it never fails. They have good portions and good prices. It's a simple place so don't get delicate. The bad thing is that they don't give you a salad or a strip of lettuce, they only give you 3 sauces and consider yourself well served. Come on, it's good.
Vegetarian options: There is nopal and bean stew with cheese.
Dietary restrictions: I don't think they have.
Kid-friendliness: If all.“

“Excellent place, atmosphere, delicious food and the attention of the waiter Abraham, he was super attentive and fast. We will definitely return often. They should only have chairs for older children, because the ones they have are for small babies and the chairs are very short and do not reach the level of the table.“
“Heard about amazing well priced authentic Mexican food outside the ADO station and was not disappointed. It’s jammed packed with locals ordering to go and dining in and I can see why. Many great options from 30-150 pesos. Amazing flavor and portions. Felt very satisfied. Had to catch my bus but would’ve ordered more otherwise.“

“It is a good option, if you are staying in a hotel in the area, the food is very good, the attention is excellent from the Cuban girls who serve and they have very cold beers. I went 3 times and I had a great time. If you visit this place in the afternoon or evening, I recommend that you bring your mosquito repellent, because it is outdoors. They have adequate prices.“

“The food is very delicious but if you order a lot and other diners arrive after you, the waiters give priority to those with less consumption and leave you last. And in the end I was missing two orders and I didn't realize until I got home.I ordered 16 quesadillas and they only gave me 14.“

“The food is delicious, good flavor, competitive price, the portion is good, 1 plate of ribs is enough for 2 people, the bad thing is the drink, a little high even with the 2x1 promo. The atmosphere is good but not for conversation, it takes a long time to serve the food.“

“Went for breakfast and I didn't like that so much but that's kind of my fault as I made a poor choice for my meal. I do NOT recommend the motuleno eggs there is WAY too much going on in that dish. Im not sure if thats a traditional style mexican breakfast, but it was not for my taste buds... However, we went a second time for lunch, and the beef quesadilla and the churros are amazing!!!“

“This Mexican restaurant, nestled within the resort, never fails to impress. The food is always great, with rich, authentic flavors that make every dish a delight. The ambiance complements the culinary experience perfectly, making it a must-visit whenever you're at the resort. Highly recommended!“
“After watching Eva Longorio "Searching for Mexico" on CNN, I used an upcoming trip to Cancun to try a regional Yucatan specialty: cochinita pibil. This a a shredded pork dish roasted for 8+ hours underground and flavored with cloves and achiote (annatto) for a reddish moist shredded meat. It's a recipe from the Mayan times on the pennisula and very authentic at the quaint 40+years old Emara Antjotes restaurant near Parque de las Palapas. The route 2 bus drops you off about 3 minutes walk away (avoid the scammers at Mercado 28) and only costs $1 USD from anywhere in the hotel zone. Bathrooms at Emara are very clean and working, restaurant is clean and service was pleasant. Delicious cochinita wrapped in corn tortilla with nice frijoles negroes. No alcohol served before noon. Worth tracking down for real Yucatecos cuisine.“

They ration the sauce for you
The service is good but slow
The atmosphere is pleasant, but not welcoming,
The sheets are too hot
The price is good for consumption
5 quesadillas and 2 cokes $230
Parking: Parking is on the street
With luck you can play in front of the place
On one side or it can touch you to the other block

“Great dinner restaurant. The arrachera (skirt steak) is superb. I thought the tacos pastor needed quite a bit more pineapple(I asked for extra but still thought it fell short). Decent selection of salas to accompany. I had the plate of 5 pastor tacos and one one arrachera gringas and wished I had done the other way around. Spent 200 pesos.“

“This place is truly exceptional—beyond exceptional, actually! Let me start with the service: Henrique and Victoria are nothing short of outstanding. I’d give them 11 out of 10 without hesitation. These two consistently go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. While the entire staff is fantastic, my interactions with Henrique and Victoria have been particularly memorable, so I’m speaking from personal experience here.
Now, let’s dive into the entertainment: the music, the dancing, the margarita performances—everything about the ambiance is simply fabulous. It’s vibrant, energetic, and endlessly entertaining.
And the food? OMG, the food is on another level! No matter what you order, you can be confident it will be absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to the beef fajitas—they are unbeatable. Once you’ve eaten here, no other place will compare. Simply AMAZING! By the way I had dinner 6 times now and VERY dog friendly.“

“It is definitely the best Mexican food restaurant in Cancun, hygienic and economical, the seasoning is delicious, it is the most representative of Mexican food, just as it would be served in a typical Mexican home, I recommend asking which dishes are spicy AND which ones are not spicy, there is something for all tastes. But really everything is super delicious. I recommend it and every time I have the opportunity I eat here, apart from the attention is wonderful, it is warm just like in a Mexican family, food made with love ❤️
Kid-friendliness: You can come with children since there is a very appropriate atmosphere and soups and broths for the children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Sufficient space and accessibility for the wheelchair“

“A gem of Cancun! This is a very small place right off the main road. We had excellent service, the tequila was flowing, and the food was ridiculously delicious. I had some steak that was perfectly cooked and fresh ceviche loaded with seafood and avocado! The portion size was massive, so I would definitely recommend sharing! Add some hot sauce for the perfect balance!! Yum. I woll be dreaming of coming back to this place on my next visit.“

The attention and service is wonderful, but the flavor and seasoning in all the dishes are UNIQUE!! Their specialty is mole, and they have 3 different types of mole... but I ordered a chaya omelet stuffed with queso de pelota that you can't imagine: DELICIOUS!!
They have an extensive and varied menu in tastes and prices... and that allows you to order calmly according to each person's budget.
Parking: The parking lot is small but easy to access.
Kid-friendliness: There is a play area for children, just far from the tables and for peace of mind we always prefer to be able to see them at all times.“

“Place with typical Yucatecan food, very tasty. The prices are reasonable, although to come if you are in the Hotel Zone if you spend about 20 minutes getting there. From the outside it is not identified, it has an entrance that is between two bushes. I recommend trying the Yucatecan snacks.“
