“Interesting selection of tacos and other sorts of food. The tacos I ordered was definitely memorable, and it was also served with 7 different salsas ranging from non spicy to a kick spicy (jalapeños if I’m not mistaken). The cocktail was good too, Mezcalina but nothing like ending the meal with the crispiest churros treat to end the meal.“

“Tacos were delicious (steak was my favorite) and service was great- Ethan was our waiter. Didn’t take long to receive our order which made it even better. Definitely worth a stop when visiting Cancun. My husband and I tried the steak, al pastor, and shrimp tacos- all worth it.“

“Good pretty and cheapI think they were the cheapest tacos I tried and they are 100% approvedThe only detail is that we first ordered the melted cheese with chorizo and then ate the tacos, and it arrived all together... the rest was very good.“

“We absolutely wanted to try Mexican tacos during our vacation and we were not disappointed! They are super good, there is a lot of choice and the portions are huge!We thought that with 6 small tacos each we would still be hungry, and when the plates arrived there were a lot of quantities, and we had to take some home!Take 3-4 small tacos each, that’s more than enough! Very very good“

“Spent one evening there as a couple. Were able to find inside and outside seating with hands-on atmosphere: It is possible to see part of the kitchen from some desks. Staff was friendly and we were able to place our orders even the waiter was not speaking English fluently. Food (different tacos) was really good ? Drinks (margaritas) as well. Prices are fair / cheap.“

“Everything is very good, except that the prices are somewhat excessive because a taco costs almost $70 pesos, I recommend the black shepherd tacos, they are excellent ???Parking: Open without a roof and they didn't charge me, I just tipped the guard.“

“It is the best taco place in Cancun, it has more than 20 different types, all delicious, it is a summary of the best flavors of Mexico, if you come to Cancun and want to try REALLY Mexican food, I recommend this place because it has a festival of flavors, milanesa tacos, machaca with egg, weathered pig's trotter, pork rinds, pressed pork rinds, meatballs, surimi, pork tenderloins, chili stuffed with cheese, ham with egg, and many more, are the best without a doubt.“

“We were exploring the Hotel Zone and decided to stop by here for a quick lunch. The employees were welcoming and it was nice that they had fans as well as a bathroom. The prices were a little expensive, and we didn't know that if you order just the tacos there's only one taco. I would suggest getting a plate to get the most from your money! It is still probably cheaper than other restaurants in the hotel zone. The food was pretty good but not very special, and it came with limes and a few different sauces. Overall, I would suggest this place for a quick lunch.“

“The tacos are excellent, everything is excellent, the only thing missing is more variety of sauces. Every time I go they no longer have sauce or they have little left. Apart from that, their cabbage salad with carrots and red onion is missing. But the tacos, excellent.“

“Without a doubt, a 100% recommended place, the service whether eating in or taking away is very good service. The only thing I don't give them a 5 ⭐ for is because they don't have card payments, for everything else, both the price and the flavor are excellent.“

“In my opinion, the food reviews are about what particularly one is looking for regarding the food taste, the place where the food is served and the service. This taqueria is nothing fancy - on contrary, it’s a tent near the street and the atmosphere is just like that. But the food - amazingly delicious! They serve tacos (or taquitos) with several different meets, as well as tortas. We ate tacos and they were very tasty, fresh as they could be since they were made right on the spot, affront of us. We kept ordering taco after taco, probably ate more than we should, but we couldn't resist since they were just so delicious. One taco, which comes with two tortilla (about 3" in diameter), was 8 pesos, and sodas were 12 pesos. The six of us ate 30 tacos and paid 240 pesos, or about $14 with today's exchange rate. For six people! Therefore, Taqueria Los Chilanquitos is a typical, local, very affordable, authentic Mexican taco place that serves truly delicious food. The location and appearance are probably not good by many foreign standards, but typical for a local Mexican, family owned taco place. For that reasons, I believe it should be rated as such, hence the 5 stars.“

“I was surprised by the experience in this typical fast food. It was worth it, especially because many restaurants close at 10pm in the city and this one stays until 11pm!Vegetarian options: Yes.Dietary restrictions: Lots of things made with more gluten-free (corn).Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything flat.“
“I seriously cannot rave about this place enough. Using Google translate and my broken Spanish, the owners were SUPER friendly and tried their best to help me order. There were plenty of locals who ate there and the food was some of the best I've ever had.Highly highly recommend getting a torta. I got a tripe torta and it will be something I'll be thinking about until the next time I come here!Street parking was easy to find!“

“The pastor is very good, they serve you quickly and you don't wait long.Edit:The shepherd has a lot of onion, I don't understand why, before there was less! I understand that he wants to save but it is exaggerated, very disappointed. The very kind waiter gave us the option of changing the pastor for another meat, we still kept it because that's what we were going for, to eat pastorcito. The flan was good, but the caramel was burnt, it tasted bitter, from then on it was creamy and rich.“

“The tacos are very good, ? the super golden chips, the flavor of the meat to my taste are very good. It is worth moving to go eat a good taco with chips. I hope they put more branches in the south. And that they do not lower their quality in terms of meat or sauces.“

“We have been to El Fogon in Playa Del Carmen couple of years back. When we planned to visit Cancun, eating at El Fogon in Cancun was top of the list....and we were not disappointed. If you are staying in Hotel zone, it is about 30 min drive but it is worth the effort. We ordered Fajita, Tacos, fruit plates, juice and few drinks. Everything was good and big portion size. The salsa and the hot sauce on the side made the dishes even better. If you are in Cancun and craving for good food, go to El Fogon!“

“Very delicious tacos. Pig's head, chorizo or sausage (however you know it) and beef steak, nothing more. Blue is the specialty that comes with the 3 meats. Very well served. The place is always full and has few places to sit but for a good taco you can even stand. Don Luis is very kind, his assistants are the same and very attentive. Reasonable prices as of Nov 2023, tacos $20 even, cakes $40 even, 500 ML glass soft drinks and 500 ML natural waters, $20.“

“The pastor tacos are delicious, but it took approximately 20 minutes to serve 2 tacos!!! My companions liked their tacos a lot, for that reason alone I give them 4 stars, it seems fair to me since there were 4 of them who liked it, but the 20 minute wait for 2 tacos, “

“The food at this little roadside place is superior to many restaurants where we've eaten. Although the selection is very limited, the food is always good. And the folks who work there are super nice. Stop by and have a taco, you won't regret it.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get a wheelchair in if you want to.“
“Excellent! These tacos have been here for years, and unlike the one in Palenque, which is much more crowded, here the attention is much more personal and the service is great and excellent. The tacos don't say anything, they are delicious! Highly recommended to go out for dinner with the family!“

“Visiting Cancun from Canada and wished to try some real Mexican food. We were staying at the Westin Lagumanmar in the "hotel zone". Took the bus into Cancun proper and walked to Taqueria Coapenitos. It was about 400 metres from the bus stop. The service was excellent. Very welcoming and friendly. English menu available and the waiter was quite helpful at explaining the various dishes. The waitress, Alejandra, was very warm and welcoming. So willing to be of assistance. The food was very good. Highly recommend. We had 3 beer, 1 margarita, 1 shared appetizer and we each had a meal. The bill was $550 pesos. This was the best tasting meal we have had in Cancun, and the price was 1/4 to 1/2 of what we paid at restaurants in the hotel zone.“

“A place like few others in Cancun, delight your palate with quality and flavor. A completely urban dining room that, together with the attention of its staff, magically transports you to the original classic style of CDMX tacos. A taco is a taco because the taco rules throughout the country, but one thing is certain, this is THE TACO because the flavors will not be given to you by the aesthetics of a dish, a unique and folkloric influence from the great city of the country .“
“Food was delicious, I ordered an Asada Burrito and my brother got the Asada Nachos. The one thing we both commented on, that was very specific, was you could taste the fresh cilantro which was a HUGE bonus! The service was great, I will definitely be back soon.“
“Tacos Rigo has huitlacoche on the menu in the form of a little quesadilla. We also tried some of the more interesting tacos like brain, tongue, and a mix. The tacos were small but flavorful and very good with a little added lime. They didn't have flan Napolitano available but we got a chocoflan to top off our meal. The chocoflan is like a regular flan sitting directly on top of a very moist chocolate cake.“

“There are beef and pork tacos, the flavor is very good, for me they are the best tacos in Cancun, it is a street stall but the friendliness of the man who attends is unmatched, the red sauce is one of my favorites, visit it and You won't regret it, they also sell delicious cakes.“

“A real "Acapulco Style" experience. Suadero and Bisteck tacos are the best. They are prepared in a traditional style. The "Horchata Water" gives you a flashback to Acapulco. The tortilla is from real corn not from Maseca dough. If you try them, you would like to go back soon to try them again.“

“A great variety of tacos, the unbeatable handmade tortillas, the sauces go very well, you have to be patient because there are quite a few people.Parking: It is on the street that there is "come and go" and sometimes there is one parked illegally, you have to be on the lookout.“
“I ate here two days in a row, it was delicious. The meat is already cooked over charcoal which gives an excellent smoky taste, the prices are very reasonable and the locals flock there. Overall after a great day in Cancun this place is the icing on the cake.“

“It is a small stall with a few tables; the tacos have a good quality, size and price ratio. The service is a little slow compared to a regular taquería but nothing that represents a problem. The attention is very good, they take your order, you take a place and they bring you your food. There is a small dressing bar; unfortunately it lacks at least one good sauce, they also have a kind of pico de gallo without tomato or chili. The meat is good but at the end of each bite, a last boost of flavor is due. I understand that you can't find good tacos in Cancun so this must be one of the best options.“
“We stopped in here one night on our two week trip and the food and service was so good we came back three more times. Between the four of us in our family we tried a lot of the items on the menu and never had a bad dish. Try the flan a great way to finish off your meal.“

“This place is amazing. The view the food the service it's honestly great all around. We got a great corner table that you see the pool and ocean perfectly. For starters we got the soup of the day and the chips with guacamole. We came as part of an all inclusive we were able to order 2 of each. I just sat here thinking and I can't seem to just pick one. Honestly they all had something I enjoyed. But if I honestly had to pick one is the tacos all pastor. I always order these and not because it is Mexico but these were the best I ever tried. If you are staying in Paraisus by Meliã I recommend this as one of the places you get. I regret not trying their breakfast.“
