“Great typical restaurant
Very good and plentiful.
The only downside is that we don't know the dishes and when you don't speak Spanish it's complicated.
Music a little loud but bearable
It sets the mood“

“The place is good, the food tastes good, very familiar in case you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, it is not so much so because families with children come. I didn't like the service very much because the waiters demand the tip which they make a bad face if you ask them, it is a place where the food has a low price, if you spend here they obviously think that you can tip. But what was unpleasant was the attitude of the waiter who handed over the bill.“

“Amazing tacos! The tempura chicken one was our favourite but the rest were as nice! Our least favourite was the pulled chicken so I would most probably get it replaced with a different one next time but we still enjoyed all of them!
The only annoying thing for us was the owner standing right next to us the whole time we were trying to pay putting pressure on us when we were looking for our walet and then counting the money - would be much nicer to leave the bill and come back afterwards but it’s a minor thing.“

“This is my absolute favorite place in Puebla for tacos. It’s always packed with locals as they love this place. The place is very big so the line goes fast. Everything is amazing. The queso fundido is amazing. Get with mushrooms. Great juices here and amazing milkshakes. Always friendly service. We eat here every trip.“

“We went because it was close to the hotel and we saw that it had good reviews and deserves them. We have gone 3 times! And everything tried is delicious, the tacos are good, the guacamole (simple) but delicious, the hamburger is homemade and good, the roasted potato is impressively good.“

“This place is one of the best selections in Playa del Carmen.
The place has a lot of variety in food and cocktails, which are very different from each other. They are all worth it for their particular style.
It has options for all types of audiences and very good live music.
A place worth going to again and again to be able to taste everything they offer.“
“Ate super tasty. The baguettes are nice and crispy with avocado salad etc.Real coffee. Service is also very good. However, good things take time. So everything takes a little while but it's worth it. The ambience is ok but it's just a small street shop“

“We have had some great birria in different areas of MX. This is good birria. We had tacos and quesabirria (all dorado) which were both tasty and satisfying. The consumé was the winner. A super-yummy salsa macha was provided and so good that i bought some to go. Service was good on a Sunday mid-morning. We live here and will return ?“

“delicious but definitely quiant. I had gotten all dressed up for date night, and came and I realized it was not a date night kind of place lol. So we ended up going somewhere else, and I came back in the morning because all I could think about was trying their Birria tacos cause i saw the reviews. The flavor was so rich and juicy, I originally ordered two, but then got a third one. the chef knew what he was doing. The waitress was OK, to be honest and she didn’t really seem to have a lot of confidence and I felt like I was her waitress. it was 9 am though so maybe it was just too early. ?“

“I love this place, it's on the new farm under some trees, it's not pretentious at all and I like the decoration and the set up. When there is live music the atmosphere has become great, in general I like the bar to have a drink and talk.
I don't recommend the tacos at all, the fusion of ingredients is strange but I was hungry and I gave them a chance, I ordered one of chistorra with shrimp, it was more chistorra and two small pieces of shrimp that didn't even make a whole one. The tortillas were cold and dry.
The campechano taco was the best served, but the others were small, not well served and for example the octopus one had almost nothing either. The delicious thing was the potato wedges that we ordered. So I don't recommend this place to eat tacos, I didn't try the rest but the tacos no no no.
The cocktails are delicious and the beer is canned, you pay to be in a place outside with music and atmosphere.
I think it has a lot of potential but they should improve their tacos, especially the cold tortillas =(“
“Look to the right and you’ll see an entrance to a yoga studio. The vegan restaurant is through there. They didn’t open till 9:30 so we waited at the front coffee bar and had coffee. It was an interesting “third place” for a lot of people that mingle there on a regular basis. I got to meet a few people. My first impression was the back area was like a cute secret restaurant and there was a yoga session in progress. My husband ordered the tofu scramble and waffles “a las dos” and the server misunderstood that those were two orders of the same thing, for both of us. My father in laws chilaquiles came out with my tofu and waffles, my husband’s plate never came out. For a while we clarified and they realized they misunderstood, while his mango water took a while to come out too. Many places in Playa Del Carmen you can expect to sit and eat a while because the food is made to order. Unfortunately for him that meant his food was just queued in as we were finishing eating. He was still charged as well. The patio was nice but we did encounter mosquitoes, they have Off on request. I loved the food, just bummed my partner had such a bad experience and didn’t get to enjoy it. #Veganuary *Updating to say we gave it another try and had a great experience. My son ate several veggie bacon and all the beans on my husband’s chilaquiles plate, and we ordered more beans. Great food and no issues. Updated from previous review on 2025-01-04“

“It was an incredible experience, the best tacos in my life. Me and my wife were just blown away, by the quality of the meat and authentic approach??
White sauce just reminds me shearma sauce from my motherland county Ukraine. Can’t understand other people who had bad experience, I think they don’t know anything and need to wuit food??“

“In terms of atmosphere, I can't give more than 4 stars because it really isn't a place that even offers music, but the food, the tacos are the best... DO NOT ASK FOR THE PROMOTION OF TACOS AL PASTOR, it's not worth it, eat and enjoy the menu , which is a delight“

“These tacos are really good. Been here for quite some days in PDC and I like these the best and they have corn tortillas as an option and the fish tacos are really great (which means gluten free) Coming back. 5 + stars. I paid only 80 pesos. ?“
“Local street joint with big hearted Mexican serving you Mexican cuisine at its best. We had tripe and barbocoa n it was d best taco I've had in all my 5 days stay in Riviera Maya. A bit of a walk from Ado terminal. 1000 times recommend.“

“The best cochinita in Playa del Carmen. The good thing is that they accept cards and I think they close at 3am.
The tacos are a good size and at a good price and well served. The cheese they use for quesadillas or crusts is delicious. The black sauce, wow, a delight, highly recommended.“

“I had not visited this place, and I thought it was the most practical to go to eat and you don't have much time, upon arrival you line up, see the dishes they offer and they make your taquitos, there are the refrigerators so you can go and have the drink you like. When you finish you stop at the cashier and pay...
Suddenly everything seemed full but the flow of people is fast and you don't wait that long to find a table.“

“This restaurant is filled with local people which is always a good sign. The margaritas here are out of this world and very strong! Food is delicious and portions are huge. I think the waiter who served us was probably the best waiter in Playa del Carmen. Good value for money at this restaurant too so highly recommended.“
“This place is truly a hidden gem in Playa del Carmen. It's small and simple, but filled with love and authenticity. You can taste the care put into every bite. I had the torta de milanesa, passion fruit agua fresca, and a brownie. Everything was absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed the al pastor burrito, hibiscus agua fresca, and a café de olla. Every dish exceeded our expectations, and the best part is that it’s 100% vegan! The owner is an incredibly kind woman who makes you feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back. Don’t miss this spot if you’re in Playa del Carmen!“

“It is a simple but pleasant place, you write down on a blackboard that they have to wait for a table but the wait was short, the service and attention was good, I thought the prices were a little high but the truth is that the taste and quality are worth the price. shame, we come on vacation and 100% recommended.
Kid-friendliness: My children liked it, as there is no children's menu but they can enjoy the main menu without any problem“

“At first everything was excellent, then waiters without knowing what they are being asked for and order something else. One occasion they threw my drinking water at me and they didn't replace my water and not even an apology, I ended up wet until my feet. Then you ask for an extra and why didn't the staff come to work, they send you the food reluctantly and smugly. The waitresses who are new to the position without having the slightest idea of what they are asked for and then they charge you for things you did not ask for. I better order my food to go“

“The tacos are very good, although they are small, you are satisfied, they have a very good flavor, they serve you very quickly, so I do suggest that they keep the soft drinks colder, or at least give you ice! From then on everything was very good!!“

“Delicious! Try the Compa-chana. We went to downtown Playa to eat and were disappointed, but we gave the taquitos another chance at Los Compas in Xcalacoco and left happy! All very delicious! Try the green sauce, acidic, with an acceptable spiciness. If you like it stronger, try the habanero one. Congratulations, everything is very good!“

“super delicious, I didn't have high hopes for it when we arrived because we didn't see people in the establishment, however, everything was very clean and the food 10/10 ??? excellent service from all the staff in the establishment. Opinion of two residents of Tulum ?“
“Very tasty, all my children were delighted with the carnitas, they say they have not eaten carnitas as delicious as the cut ones, and I was also very satisfied with my delicious golden birria tacos with cheese, and they serve you very, very well, everyone is very helpful and attentive“
“THE FLAVOR OF ROASTED MEAT!!!Location: A small open-air establishment that offers service in front of the grill where you can see the preparation process and enjoy the smell of cooking or if you prefer the table, it is also a good place.Food: The meat is by cut and the cooking is up to you, consider that the more cooked the meat loses its juice and the grill expert will definitely be able to guide you to have a better experience on each visit. Each order is accompanied by the beans and guacamole, they are incredible!!!!....Let's not forget that making your dish delicious takes time, be patient and you will be rewarded.Service: He is very friendly from the moment you arrive, all the time he is focused on giving you the best preparation. After knowing the experience, I am sure that he is a person who likes to deliver quality food.Let's keep looking for bits of flavor of MEXICO!!!“

“Pretty good tacos, asked for 'asada' and got chicken. Got a torta with the pork on a rotating spit, pretty good as well. Very affordable, took a minute to get without a line. $240 for 3 tacos, torta, and two drinks. Took back to our hotel dressed with delicious salsa.“

“It was one of my favorite taqueros years ago and now the quality is going down. Slow service and I had to stop to demand my bill and pay it. Because it took them a long time to pass it.
The tacos no longer have the same seasoning. I don't know if they changed taqueros but it shows. The sauces don't have the same flavor anymore.
And the cleanliness of the place is not to mention.“

“It fascinates me, the truth is that there are few that I can say have the most juicy and delicious meats that I have ever tried, order whatever you want from tacos, wires, cakes, gringas and if what you want is for the whole family you can order up to x half or kilos They are great, I assure you that you are going to be amazed like me, well and not only with the food, the kids serve you in the best way and it is not like in other places here your order comes out very quickly, really, come and let yourself go for the best in meats from the shepherd, the steak and I don't know what to say the flank steak the chop look better let's stop craving it and better go see the takeria it's very easy to get there ok you want something delicious and at a good price, you know where. . . ???“
“I walked by this place and it looked interesting. I wanted to try some place like Mexican street food and at decent prices. I had no idea what a Panuchos cochinita pibil was - it's a Yucatan specialty of stuffed tortillas with refried beans with roast pork. I had to try it since I'm in the Yucatan pensiula. And it was only 40 pesos. It was delicious. This place was booming. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for my Panuchos“
“Excellent quality and price. After living in Playa for a year, I dare say that in this modest street stall you will find better suckling pig than in any restaurant in the tourist area. The flavor does not ask for anything from the most recommended suckling pig places in Mérida.Tacos/tortas and portions of cochinita pibil, black stuffing, baked suckling pig and a variety of regional stews depending on the day.If you come to PdelC and want to try authentic food from the peninsula, this is a must stop.Despite being a cart, it has a table and stools to eat and if you go by car it is not difficult to find parking a few steps away.“
“Tacos with good flavor, well served, if it is the first time you go, consider that with one you can make up to 3 without problem, I ordered the golden tripe ones but they lacked more golden ones, in general very tasty and the Jamaican waters and Horchata recommended“
“This place is a bit off the beaten path, but it is worth visiting. The food is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. The prices are reasonable. And right next door there is an ice cream shop for dessert! We actually stayed right across the street at the Heaven Hotel and ate here multiple times. The food was always top notch.“

“The tuna toast, the tuna tiradito, the rib eye tacos, the flank steak and the truffle potatoes were what we tried and everything was delicious. Our favorites were the tuna tiradito, the flank steak salad and the truffled potatoes. To drink, we tried the mango mezcalita, the María Sabina, the mezcalito and the Cabernet wine and everything was very tasty. Very good service from Erik and his colleagues. They do a very good loom show, the atmosphere is also very good and it doesn't feel super crowded. The bathrooms very well“

“I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free.
My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling, but in Playa del Carmen I found this gem ? “El Árabe Tacos y Burritos”, where I had some yummy customized vegan and gluten-free tacos and Pico de gallo ?
?I ordered “vegetarian tacos, sin manteca [animal fat often used for cooking vegetarian dishes] and sin queso [cheese]”.
?? I made sure that the tacos was gluten-free by asking “los tacos es solamente mais?”
The tacos came with onions, green pepper, pineapple, and mushrooms. I customized my tacos by adding some Pico de gallo and homemade green salsa ?
The “Pico de gallo” which came with homemade nachos on the side, and was fresh and delicious.
?The staff was friendly and helpful, but busy
?The atmosphere of the restaurant like a café (relaxed and enjoyable) rustic decorated with wooden chairs and tables
?The food was yummy both the vegan dishes I had, and the ones my family had (burritos, various tacos and various quesadillas)
?The place was clean - I can't tell for the bathroom, since I didn't use it.
? One more for serving vegan gluten-free tacos and a lovely night ???

“It is portable Taco stand run by a family - mainly 3 generation s of females. I saw two nice young ladies cooking and serving - 4 year old daughter playing under the cart. Mom and grandma helping. They made us, 3 foreigners feel locals - charging us same price as locals with smiles.
Vegetarian options: They did give us Tortas with cheese and vegetables - there was enough salad on the table as well many different sauce.“

“I've been looking for some good wings for a long time here in PDC and I think I finally found them!! Most places have them but they're usually no bigger than my pinky finger, but these are the size you know and love! The first picture is my order of 18 wings. For sauces, I requested the BBQ bourbon, buffalo, teriyaki and lemon pepper. My favorites were the BBQ bourbon, teriyaki and the buffalo!! Absolutely delicious sauces all made in house!! The garlic parmesan came with freshly graded parmesan cheese on top, different but delicious! The mozzarella cheese sticks were also hot and tasty and the fries crispy! Overall a great experience a must try!“
