UNB Grad House - Windsor Castle Bar Bar • $
676 Windsor St, Fredericton

“Coffee shop during the day, super excellent lattes (my favorite place in the city). The Nutella latte is awesome. They also have plants for sale in the windows which is cute if you want to take home a plant, but also makes for epic work vibes. They also have snacks you can buy. Soups, sandwiches, cinnamon buns, meat pies, etc. You can also bring your own food in to eat there.Beer is also cheap and there's a good selection.Major con is parking, as it's on campus. So you'll need a parking pass to park before 4 pm (free after that).“

“called in order at 610pm told to pick up 20 mins. arrive at 632 paid bill at 636. Told a few mins to wait, sat at the end of bar and proceeded to wait an additional 35 mins, finally got order at 710. Told sorry by server, after been told 3 times in the 35 mins it was going to be a few more mins. I understand being busy, totally just tell me on phone the wait and allow me to choose to wait or not. After the drive home ready to enjoy my food cause it is pine tree and usually it is the best.... but guess what they forget part of my order.... then when I called and asked to talk to manager got a supervisor who took my name and said I can have my order next time.... really didn't understand if it was the missing order or all order and not once did Supervisor apologize. so I resign myself to try and eat my fish and chips and the wife with no fries for her club house... and surprise surprise I see not the usually plentiful amount of chips but I would say about 1/2 of the normal amount... and then begrudgingly start eating MY UNDERCOOKED fries. Some still mostly raw, so very disappointed in Pine Tree.... very subpar and disappointed. busy for sure understand Bingo is the money maker I guess. Hopefully it improves or this was a really off night but will be a very long time if ever will I go in again“

The Speakeasy Bar & Lounge Bar •
530 Queen St, Fredericton

“Best kept secret in town for amazing cocktails. They have a top notch selection of whiskey and scotch. I've gone to several events at the speakeasy, and the service and music were always great. My last visit was Saturday afternoon jazz. The vibe is relaxed and you don't have to get a haircut at the attached barbershop to hang out at the speakeasy. Do yourself a favor and go check it out.“

“Just moved back to N.B. last month and was really concerned about finding a place with great steak/prime rib. My friend suggested STMR.36 and, I have to say, what a great recommendation! Great atmosphere and excellent service from Martina, and John (the general manager) even stopped by our table to make sure that we were well looked after. We had the jalapeño poppers and prime rib, which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The margaritas were really good. Love this place, amazing food, great management and staff, can't wait to go back!“

“I have lunch here from time to time. Everything here is so good and their soup for the side is surprisingly good! It’s a bit oily and creamy. And there’s a nice friendly atmosphere in the evenings. The burger on the photo is their Hot Head, one of my faves. The spiciness and pickles make the match!“

“Got an envelope recently with a surprise Jungle Jim's bonus, so of course we went to dine in. Our envelope won us free crocodile skins and gosh were there a lot of tasty potato skins. Ordered taco platters, crispy cod and Thai chicken. Delicious well stuffed tacos, and a huge amount of fries. We were too full of food by the end for dessert, but maybe the next time we swing on into Jim's.“

Kingswood B.B.L. Bar •
41 Kingswood Way, Hanwell

“Very good hotel in Fredericton, NB. The hotel looks clean and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable and I like the wood flooring in the room. The staff in the reception were personable. The only downside was the breakfast was not so great and you need to pay extra (which is typically included in a similar rated hotel). Overall very good and I would book again if I'm in the area in the future.“
