“Been travelling all around New Brunswick trying to find a good coffee shop and this is the place!! The barista is always friendly and so knowledgeable. They also make their own house made syrups. I got an iced matcha with the house made vanilla syrup and it was delicious.“

“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the young man at the window last night around 6 pm. My daughter had a tough day and was crying. He took the time to talk to her and ask what was wrong and then brought her a muffin. It was very sweet of him and certainly brightened her day. Thank you so much. ❤️“

“I'll give this location a four because they do service customers very quickly. If you go at what people would consider a normal break/lunch time, it's very busy. Despite it being busy, ive never experienced them running out of what I wanted. If you are looking to sit down and chat while you have your coffee this isnt the place for you. Limited seating in a high traffic area.“

“Actually had a great cup of coffee there. Not burnt tasting like most Tim Hortons I've been to. Update. My wife had a tea today, and it was at best Luke warm. I think the heater for the tea needs to be serviced. She said she didn't enjoy the taste, but we can put that down to it literally wasn't her cup of tea. She is quite particular to the red rose tea brand and she generally does not enjoy tea anywhere, and I am fussy as well, so we can not hold any restaurant responsible for this. But the temperature needs to be checked.“

Even with all the food and drinks I have ordered, they have made it right every time with good quality too. “We've been here a bunch of times over the last few months and have been in at many different times during the day and it's always easy and convenient to come here. The staff is always happy and friendly and provides great quality food and coffee every single time we come in here. Probably one of the best Tim's around.

“This past week was the first time I've visited Starbucks Rothesay, and the service was lovely. Kind and welcoming staff from the second I walked through the door. They graciously allowed me to take some Halloween photos of my dog Phillip dressed as a Pup Cup on their patio ❤️.“

“I’ve been to McDonald’s a few times and love the Junior Chicken Meal with fries or poutine and a medium Coke—definitely a go-to comfort meal. The Snack Oreo McFlurry with extra Oreo is always a treat, although sometimes I wish they’d add a bit more Oreo to make it perfect.

That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The Junior Chicken and fries are not always fresh; on a few occasions, the chicken tasted off, and the fries were soggy or cold, which was really disappointing. The lobby area also tends to be messy, with garbage left uncleared, and it seems like the self-serve station for lids, straws, napkins, and sauces is often not stocked properly. It’s a bit frustrating when you have to hunt for basic items during a busy visit.

While the food can be hit or miss depending on the freshness, the McFlurry and drink are always satisfying. With better attention to cleanliness and food quality, it could be a more consistent and enjoyable experience.

Vegetarian options: McDonald’s doesn’t offer many vegetarian options, which can be disappointing for plant-based eaters. Aside from fries, hotcakes, and burgers without the meat patty (essentially just the bun and veggies), there aren’t many substantial choices.

Parking: While McDonald’s offers plenty of parking, it’s a bit of a letdown when it comes to pedestrian access. The lack of proper sidewalks makes it difficult for people on foot to safely navigate from the parking lot to the entrance.

Kid-friendliness: McDonald’s is definitely a kid-friendly especially with its play area. It’s a great option for families looking to grab a quick meal while letting kids burn off some energy. The menu has plenty of options for little ones too, like Happy Meals, which come with fun toys and a choice of sides like apple slices or fries.“
