26 Best Pizza Restaurants in Saint John

“A great night out for my family. Service was quick, menu had something for everyone and a special on when we were visiting was Kids Eat Free! What a great perk! Our toddler especially loved her gelato ice cream dessert! Our server April was especially lovely, making conversation with our toddler and ensuring food came quick and hot.“

“Ordered a pepperoni pizza tonight for 5:30, was ready to go right on time and the 2 boys working were very kind. One of them even brought the pizza out to my boyfriend & I in the rain, a nice unexpected surprise!“

“I ordered pizza last night, I didnt have much money left and thought I should treat my brother. I order the pizza the wait time is good it arrives looks amazing smells amazing take a bite there's no sauce. I didn't put no sauce when ordering the pizza so its not user error“

“My family & I had a great experience at this location. This establishment is very kid friendly. Our server Maddy was fantastic and checked in with us frequently to ensure everything was taken care of. The food quality was great. We will definitely be back.“

“food is always fresh, hot . Great prices“

“I have been frequenting Vito’s Quispamsis for years. I have always had a great experience there but today, they went above and beyond. I arrived there in the middle of a snow storm. I wanted to pick up pizza dough and sauce for a friend in isolation. I got to the door but it was locked. Presumably the owner, came to the door and told me that they had closed a half hour earlier. His cash was closed but he still served me and sent me on my way without charge. It was such a kind gesture during the middle of a snowstorm, in a pandemic no less. Thank you!“

“I had a great experience at Pizza Salvatore! The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pizzeria is always clean and well-organized, and the food is fresh, tasty, and served quickly. The atmosphere is comfortable and family-friendly, which makes it a great place to eat in or take out. Definitely one of the best pizza spots in town—I highly recommend it!“

“Stopped by on a weeknight around 7pm with my pup after a long walk and they didn't mind us grabbing a table on the patio at all. The staff brought out a water bowl without even asking, which honestly made my whole week. Their margherita pizza came out fast and the crust had that perfect char on it, nothing soggy about it. Parking was easy too since the lot right out front had plenty of open spots, so no circling the block with a tired dog in tow.“

“Pizza looked and smelled great, but their card machine wasn't working, driver insinuated it was my cards, both credit and debit. But the machine was saying communication error, both cards had more than enough money. Anyways ,long story short, the took the pizza. So to start I'll never order here again, and tell everyone I know not to either, very dissatisfied and disappointed.“

“The pizzas were absolutely delicious! I was having family visit, so ordered 2 pizzas to make sure I’d have some left.
I certainly will continue buying pizza at this establishment only.
The service was excellent and the lady was very friendly. Thank you!“

“Great service and great food!“

“I love Vito’s Moncton and today got to experience Vito’s in Uptown Saint John. The staff were very friendly, nice to have parking uptown, the food was delicious, and I can’t even get over how fair the lunch prices are. You can barely get a 6 inch or even 12 inch sub at one of the major chains for the $18 I spent on a fabulous lasagna and Caesar salad meal. I’ll definitely be back!“

“On Saturday March 1 /26 I ordered online a large pizza order for a birthday party ($180 ) total when I arrived for Pickup, I was shocked that it was lined up so bad at the staff was so busy and I mean extremely busy. They handled the rush quite well. This was at 4:20 PM. Fast efficient orders. My food was fresh hot and ready. therefore I allowed the staff A $50 tip and the front end fella was very shocked. I said no you guys deserve that and more very well maintained store St. John New Brunswick very very busy and it was handled quite well.“

“The food was absolutely amazing - especially the super donair.“

“I love Papa John's. I am a fairly regular customer. I hadn't been there since Christmas, which is unusual. So I thought Valentines looked like a good time to return. I called to place my order. To my surprise, no one answered the phone. That was a first. So I went inside. A very exhausted looking young man came out to greet me. This was not the usual camaraderie that I was used to seeing when I would go there. He was clearly trying to find a minute to grab some lunch, and suddenly, I understood why the phone was not answered. So I asked him if he was working all alone and he said, "Yes, every day." I immediately felt badly for him. One of the busiest pizza days of the year and he was working alone. There was no one there to help him, nor even just to talk to. So I couldn't rate the service, nor the atmosphere, as highly as I would normally, because this man couldn't be the effective team member he normally would be. There was no atmosphere, it was just eerily quiet and still. No staff members hollering to one another, helping one another, laughing with one another. It was so sad to see. He did the best he could that day, and he made me some beautiful pizzas, even though he was feeling pretty low. So do better, Papa John's. Support your staff. No staff member should ever work alone in this crazy world.“

“First time trying their pizza, and it did not disappoint! 🍕 I got the pepperoni, beef, and bacon pizza with lots of cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was 💯, and the donair sauce was superb! 😋😘“

“Just had pizza from Big Daddys for the first time today and I will admit it won't be my last. Seriously good pizza! Great prices too!“

“I live in SK, and called to order a pizza and pay for it over the phone and the staff had no issue with it. My bestie had some not great news today, and being long distance best friends is hard, I would've been there with her today to eat it but I couldn't. So I ordered pizza and asked the staff to put a message on it for me so that she would know that I love her. Amazing customer service and pizza. Thank you “

“Went in and got a couple of large donairs. Very convenient location especially for uptown residents. It was also 3am after a great evening with the neighbours out on the deck. Had a fire and a few drinks. Great evening topped of with a delicious Donair.“

“I’ve managed multiple franchised pizza locations so I understand firsthand the level of effort it takes to maintain consistency across service and product. That’s exactly why I think it’s worth recognizing what this location is doing right.

Over the last 9-10 orders I’ve placed here, the quality has been impressively consistent — not just in the food itself, but in the overall experience. From the pizza to the sides, everything has been well-prepared, fresh, and packaged with care. That kind of reliability is rare in this industry and speaks volumes about the internal standards you’ve clearly put in place.

The staff has also been a steady presence — familiar faces, always polite, efficient, and focused. They may not be the most talkative crew, but they Hustle and I respect that. Maybe a bit more customer engagement or banter during slower moments wouldn’t hurt, but overall, the flow is smooth.

Out of all my visits, only one order didn’t quite hit the mark — and even then, I wouldn’t call it a failure. It was a timed order, and based on the texture and temperature, I’d guess it was made too early and sat a bit too long. It wasn’t a major issue, just one of those things when timing doesn’t line up perfectly. If you’re not already using heat racks, it might be something to consider —

All that said, I think this team should be proud. The consistency, the attention to detail, the efficiency — it all adds up to a location that’s not just surviving in this market, but actively staying competitive. I honestly wonder if some of the other shops in the area realize they’re up against a team that actually delivers.“
