“Food is usually good but on Friday, January 3, 2025 was the exception. Broccoli Cheddar soup tasted like freezer burn. Chicken salad sandwich bland with no taste.“

“We love each visit to this wonderful restaurant. Every dish I have been served was fresh, hot and sometimes sizzling! (Fajitas) When I have made special requests the meal arrived just as I wanted. The portion sizes are good and often enough to take home some to enjoy later. The bar offers a wide variety of choices at reasonable prices. The wait staff are friendly and attentive without being pesty. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.“
“If you are looking for fresh food prepared with local quality ingredients at the zoo this is the place for you! There are a few good salad options, particularly the cobb salad, and the grits bowls are very unique. The Turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo is also excellent. They even sell local teas! This is a huge step up from the normal fried food and burgers that you can get throughout the zoo. So if you are at the zoo and looking for good quality and something other then fried food or a burger be sure to check out this awesome cafe! As members of the zoo we are definitely going to be eating here again next time we visit!“

“I have ordered my fair share from this restaurant. I usually order delivery and without fail.... My food always arrives as ordered and hot. And generally fast to arrive. The food is a good proportion and often serves for a small leftover for a midnight snack. Everything always appears and taste fresh. They're always friendly when I call and they deliver. I give them 5 thumbs up!“

“Wonderful people...very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious! A member of our party had a food allergy and we had to find something that they could eat. The manager / owner came out to help us figure out what to pick. The chef came out to assist with picking food that avoided the allergy. Super friendly and helpful! 👍👍👍👍👍“

“The food was great the price was very reasonable great price the only problem I had wasn't with the restaurant but with the doordash driver she said they forgot my team but my tea was on her seat which means she took it herself I don't know but I'm just saying the other than that I would recommend La hacienda restaurant to anybody it is a great authentic Mexican restaurant“

“I have to tell you I did Domino's for pickup for my grandson's birthday. Really great service in the store. And later on in the day we ordered Domino's for delivery and as always they came through and it was really good. I don't know what it is about the Pacific vegetable thin crust pizza that is like. Oh my gosh chef kiss! My other family member is really like the barbecue chicken, and then the buffalo chicken pizzas so it's nice to get the smaller pizzas that way. Then you can get more variety.“

“Not happy with this place. I’ve been here several times and never had a problem. Until now I was eating my orange chicken and all the sudden I was chewing on a hair when I was chewing my chicken. Got it out of my mouth and the hair was still intact inside the chicken. I would never go back there again.“

“This was our second visit to Magnolia 23. Both experiences have been excellent. First time we ordered chicken and dumplings they are best I’ve ever had! Today I tried country style steak wife ordered fried chicken both very good but I prefer the dumplings better then my grandma’s. Sides are always delicious collards and best potato salad in NC Desserts blackberry cobbler and persimmon pudding Excellent. Don the owner takes time to visit with his guests and treats everyone like family We travel from Hickory to Chapel Hill frequently In the future we will stop here for our lunch.“
