“If you are hungry and end enjoy Chinese noodle soups, this is a great place to enjoy soups. The portions are very good, you can create your own level of spicy, and the broth is delicious. I recommend the dumpling soup. The rice dish was also good, but noodle dishes would be my recommendation.“

“I need to preface my review a bit:
I lived in Fairview 7 years ago and this was my go to for Chinese at that time.
Since I’ve now returned, I was happy to find them still open and decided to give them a try
I got the teriyaki shrimp combo plate. It had great flavor, plentiful portions and the shrimp were not salad shrimp like I feared they would be. Big, plump, tasty shrimp. Lots of veggies as well. More than ample rice. The egg roll
That came with it was so good I wish I’d gotten two.
My only complaint is the lack of customer service. They just are not friendly. Perhaps a language barrier, but even a smile goes a long way.“

“I'm so annoyed that as a very long time Asheville resident - I had never tried this place until tonight! I eat a lot of Asian food and Chinese takeout is my favorite comfort food. Everything was amazing. This was the best Singapore Mei Fun I've ever had. We ordered 5 dishes for our family. All of them were perfect. Thank you New China!“

“Great place. Affordable price and the only place I've found that still makes vegetable egg rolls instead of vegetable spring rolls.“

“I travel for work, and I needed quick fast food. A local in the area recommended this place:
My 1st visit I got FRIED CHICKEN WINGS w/lo mein WITH an order of Wong tongs we ordered the food then picked up. FOOD WAS COLD (thats why I do not pre order food) the noodles were burnt!!! This was around 8pm food was $28 and some odd change.
The NEXT TIME I ORDERD I got ONLY fried chicken and Wong tongs, this time I walked in place my order and picked up! Food was amazing! It was about $18 and some change.
Chicken is always good when it’s hot and fresh. I would recommend this place however not the lo mein & I would suggest you order inside if you want hot food!“

“This is one of the quickest places to get food, and it (usually) tastes great. 2 orders of Orange Chicken, Black Pepper Steak and Fried Rice is my go to. My boss tends to get 2 orders of Honey Walnut Shrimp, Black Pepper Steak or Mushroom Chicken, and noodles. Only reason I put usually in brackets is because today they scorched my fried rice. One of the employees made me an entire new plate to compensate, though. Other than a common mistake that was handled well today, I'll keep coming back when it's time for lunch!
Edit: if you order the Honey Walnut Shrimp, do as my boss does and request extra walnuts. I also put my boss's usual order here, too. Don't forget that you can do half and half!!
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restrooms only accommodate one person, but are big enough to also accommodate wheelchairs. Some of the chairs can be moved if you have to open up an aisle.“

“Our choices for Asian cuisine in WNC are very limited. Fortunately, P.F. Changs is only 25 minutes away, with an interesting menu that (tonight) was fresh and delicious. Crab Wonton is our go-to appetizer, but we also enjoyed the BBQ spare ribs. Kung Pao chicken and pepper steak were our entrees. They also had a delicious and smoky Asian Old Fashioned cocktail, which we recommend.“
