“We have been eating here for over a decade. Came back for the first time post-Helene, and it was such a welcoming, comforting experience!! I had the special which was INCREDIBLE. We brought a Vegetarian Platter home and had it later for dinner- delicious.“

“I had really only heard of Bargello while looking at other restaurants in town and seeing it in the search results. As a local, I’ve been to the spectacular bar inside the Arras, but never somehow never noticed a restaurant. Hm..

Anyway, we ate at Bargello the other night as a treat for my MIL’s birthday and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was elevated but comfortable, elegant without being pretentious. The service was exactly what one should expect in a restaurant like this - friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being over the top. I often lament the poor service in Asheville, especially in places charging high-dollar, but this was exactly right. Blaze, our server, was fantastic throughout.

The food was excellent. Whatever chorizo sauce they let the mussels swim in was sensational, the veggie fritters were delightful, and the red snapper was cooked perfectly. The wine selection is extensive and interesting. Order the orange cake for dessert. Trust me.

“We have lived in Asheville for about 15 years and have been eating Suzy’s food since there was only a food truck. It’s nourishing, delicious, and always filling, not to mention very fairly priced! The ownership and staff are amazing and have always been welcoming to myself and all of my diverse groups of friends and family. We love Gypsy Queen!“

“We ate at Cava Asheville with the ETSU Men’s Soccer team for our pre-game meal. Catering to an entire team of players and staff (circa 30 people) is a challenge, especially if you’re on a tight schedule. Cava delivered, the staff was friendly, speedy, and very accommodating. A big thanks to Cava management and staff for making our meal seamless and tasty.“

“My wife and I are huge foodies and were looking for the perfect catering for our wedding. Well, this was it. The owners went out of their way to coordinate with us on our schedules for a tasting and logistics. Pricing was highly both transparent and reasonable. Everyone was helpful and responsive to our requests, adjustments, and needs (we had a number of dairy and/or gluten free as well as vegetarian guests), getting us our requested items as well as anticipating and suggesting additional ones that would fill out our options to make everyone feel comfortable. Oh, and lest we forget, the food was INCREDIBLE! The tebbouleh (probably botched that) and dolmas were favorites. The chicken shawarma and felafel were giving them a good run for the spot though. With an hour or so drive from asheville to our venue they were perfectly punctual and everyting arrived hot (or not as needed). All this would be more than enough but made exceptionally exceptional given they were simultaneosly working on final stages of opening another location! Head to toe an amazing restaurant run and staffed by wonderful people whose magnificent food and service made our special day something all the moreso. Cant recommend them enough.“

“What an awesome early dinner! We had drinks, which I could have drank so many of them! We had the 6 pc wings and no doubt the best wings I've ever had. Then the real prize...my boneless ribeye! Melt in your mouth delicious!! My date had the 6pcs. Of fried oysters with fries and slaw,everything was so wonderful and our service was on point!“

“The Scarlett bee catered our wedding last weekend and did an AMAZING job! Matthew is so nice and helped us every step of the way. He was able to work with our budget and even drove all the way to our house to deliver food for a tasting since the truck wasn’t up and running at that time. The staff and bartenders provided were very friendly and did a great job. We had chicken shwarma, falafel, pita, Lebanese rice, toum, hummus, pickled veggies, and sliders. It was all incredible. Every single guest I’ve talked to has told me how amazing the food was. I would absolutely use the Scarlett bee again and would recommend them to everyone“
