“Pick up order of the beef clay pot. Though it was good, it definitely is not a good to-go option and it is TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get at $70. Clay pot filling, a small container of rice and 4 wraps (which do not travel well) By the time I got home, the bread was hard and to get the gooey bread topping on the clay pot was very difficult. It did not feed 2 people, we had to make extra rice to make it go farther. I gave it a high score bc the flavors were really good.“

“Madeline E, my server, was awesome. Service and staff at this location, including 2 managers who stopped by the table to check in on my meal, is better than other locations in Charlotte. They were wall to wall busy at 4pm on a Saturday, including a group birthday party of 20 and a party of 12, but service was still on point. The kitchen was a little slower because of the big parties but still faster than other locations in town. I would put this as one of the top 3 Olive Garden visits I've had since Covid.“

“We absolutely love Portofino’s Gastonia...We usually eat in their restaurant but I was recently in the Hospital and was wanting their Spaghetti so We opted for take out and they did not disappoint bc it was a huge portion of Spaghetti and stuffed Shells as well as a nice healthy salad..The food was so hot and fresh..Thank you“

“I had one of the best dining experiences I've ever had at Olive Garden thanks to our amazing server, Nina. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She checked in at all the right times without ever hovering, and she carried this calm, positive energy that made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Nina knew the menu like the back of her hand, she gave great recommendations, made sure everything came out fresh and hot, and even caught small details before we had to ask. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in her job.

What stood out the most was her kindness and consistency. Even when the restaurant got busy, she never rushed us or let her service drop. That level of professionalism is rare these days, and it made our visit feel special.

“WOW! My boyfriend and I recently moved into the area and decided to try out sals a few weeks ago. At that time we got a buffalo chicken pizza & a Hawaiian pizza. Today we decided to try them again and got a margarita pizza, Stromboli, and antipasto salad. Our order was QUICKLY finished and tastes absolutely delicious. Sal is very personable and extremely talented in the kitchen. Our favorite pizzeria by far.“
