“We are from out of town and wanted to try something new. Manager delivered our food and asked us about our visit. He thanked us for picking them for lunch and gave us chips and queso on the house! All of our food was delicious. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!!!!“

“Wow. Happened by chance by this food truck. Gave it a try. OMG. Best authentic Mexican street food! Incredible flavor and huge portions. My wife and I split the special and it was almost too much. The shredded beef was awesome - perfectly seasoned and perfect texture. Green and red hot sauces were spot on. Fresh radish and lime accompaniment were perfect. Soup was piping hot and delicious. Better than any Mexican food we ever had in Texas (where we lived for 40+ years. This place is 10 out of 10!“

“The Latin American Quetzal Restaurant is superior when it comes to serving red snapper! It was perfectly cooked in the Huachinango style (deep fried without a batter). It was served with rice, beans, avocado, cactus salad, pickled onions, jalapeno salsa, and lime. This was all served on two big platters. The red snapper was huge and it sat on a sizzling hot iron plate. I could not believe the quality and amount of food they served for only $23.99! They also make their own aqua frescas. I had a mix of their mango and passion fruit aqua frescas mixed together. It was delicious! I would also like to say that the service there was very good and attentive. There is no question that I will be coming back again!“

“We went on December 18th (tonight) for my husband’s birthday party. Arely A was our server. She was wonderful. She is efficient, great at her job, kind, friendly. She made the night perfect. “My all time favorite Mexican place and I will continue going. I do suggest that the nachos have queso instead of a few drops of yellow cheese. Visit was dinner Fri Jan 30. I will continue to get the salad, Carne Asada plate, and burrito.“

“Tonight my husband and I came for a quick bite of dinner. Service is usually fair but nothing spectacular. However, tonight we had a new server, Miguel, who was attentive, kind, and exemplifies the kind of service that makes you want to return! You need more service like this guy! He seems to really care! Our dinner was good as well!“
“Great local market with a solid selection of Mexican groceries. The store is clean, well organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and they carry items you don’t always find at bigger chains. Always a good experience when I stop in—definitely recommend supporting this place.“

“We are so lucky this place is so close to home. Some of the best tacos we have had around NC my wife had some al pastor yesterday and tripa tacos she said they were the closest she's had to mexico city. And she is very picky. This place is very clean and owner is so sweet. We will be back here on a regular basis.“

“Please know at least minimal Spanish to order. Food is not marked. Menu is on the wall. GIANT chicchironis! Salsa will make you vibrate :-). Tamales are amazing! You must take it to go. Chicken mole the best I've ever had. They give a stack of warm tortillas with your order. Can't wait to go back and try something new!“
“Yummy! Quick, delicious, big portions. The small restaurant in a gas station is the real deal. You can do take-out and there are also tables to eat there. You can tell everything is fresh and made with care. We especially like the burritos and quesadillas. Check it out! You will not be disappointed.“
