“We stayed in Dobson on our way to Myrtle Beach. This place was a cozy little diner nestled in a friendly town. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by several ladies who were as friendly as can be. The prices are super reasonable and the portions were big. Everything we had was very delicious. My sons friend was with us and got the chicken and waffles and he said they were the best tenders he has ever had. Their pancakes were delicious with a crispy golden edge. My oldest son and I got the tenderloin special for that morning and we both enjoyed it. My husband got the hungry man special and well he apparently wasn't that hungry because he couldnt finish it. But it was a great value. The biscuits are huge and the grilled home fries with onion are a definite must get.”

“The manger Luscero not only fixed the small mistake we had but replaced the meal I had ordered. She went above and beyond to make sure my food was done correctly as we were going through a hard time and chose to eat there to celebrate a life instead of mourn. They understood the importance of this and took care of everything. Their food is great and they are always doing things to help out the local schools and different areas for donations. It’s amazing to have a restaurant do something to take the time to be personal enough to fix a situation, though when it comes up individually like that, that takes more than good employees it takes heart and great food! This is why they are one of the only food restaurants to make it long in Dobson without closing like all the rest have because everyone knows they can be reliable.”

“We drove 2 hours on a Saturday. Arrived at 3:30 Pm. We were seated promptly and a waitress arrived at our table to take our drink and appetizer order. It arrived almost immediately. She returned to take our dinner order and it also arrived much sooner than we expected. Our party of 4 all ordered something different. The consensus of our group was it was the best place we had ever dined. We will return soon.”

“My family and I ate there tonight it was really good. My hamburger steak was cooked the way I asked. Our appetizers came out hot and in time for us to enjoy before our main course came out. The service was excellent and of course my biggest pet peeve was good she kept my drink cup full. Thanks you Shannon for a job well done.”

“Fabulous little roadside place with a huge number of flavors (I didn't count but I think more than 31!) and they even do upscale coffee/espresso/ice cream drinks! Prices are very reasonable. The added bonus: a wooded sculpture garden made by the owner and lots of cute little buildings. Ice cream and culture in one stop! Well worth the slight detour as we headed back north.”

“Hello all. This Chic Fil A has been absolutely amazing today. My truck stalled out on me today in the drive through and the staff was extremely kind and quick acting. They helped push my truck to an area where we could let it sit until my father came to my aid. The staff was so sweet and didn’t rush my kids and I to move the truck into a parking spot. When my father arrived, we had 4 men come out and help push while my dad steered. Thank you to all those who were involved and spent their time helping a mother who knows nothing about vehicles. The man who helped us the most also brought ice cream cones out to my young daughters. I mean, how sweet is that!? Thank you all again for your warm hearts. The world needs more of you. ❤️”

“We liked our visit, the staff were very friendly, but not really good. Had a nice selection of both wine and beer on tap. However, they never remembered the name on our tab or what we were drinking. They took a while to get your order and they looked genuinely surprised that you wanted to order a drink. They would let you stand at the bar take your glass and act as if getting another beer or glass of wine was something they were unaccustomed to. Each time you walked up to get another drink they would just look at you say hi and then stand around until you explicitly indicated you needed something. They would then forget your oder act like they couldn't find your name on the tab, (they do take and hold on to your card while you are there), and eventually get you a drink. Please dont take it the wrong way, they were super friendly and wanted to talk and take care of you its just they wanted to talk to each other more than getting you a drink. I would just hate to see them when they were busy. Please keep in mind we were the only customers they had. I will say they have excellent bathrooms, they were large, spacious and very clean. They also have a large covered patio area, large enough for 15-20 people to comfortably sit and hangout. They had plenty of seating inside and several tables with umbrellas and a fire pit outside. They have some hiking trails as well, we did not get to walk the trails due to rain.”
