Of course we had to try a chocolate chunk cookie and one of the orange cake donuts before we left. Everything was great and really reasonably priced! The girls working there were fun! They made recommendations of what to try and talked with us about out travels. They were super personable Great place!”

“Came to Newbern from Greenvill and then found this gem on maps and drove a couple of miles away from Newbern to try it. I have to say it has been a long time since I came across a good Mexican/Hispanic restaurant. The food, the service all of it was top notch. “Awesome subs, the old fashioned subs that are made in the grill, with grilled onions. They also have regular cold cut subs. They bring your subs to your table and keep your drink cups full. The sweet tea is great, but it’s real sweet tea. I get mine cut down a little, and they are happy to work with you.”

“PICTURES IN COMMENTS! First time after hearing a lot of great reviews. Laid back dining with delicious food! I had a shrimp po boy, red beans and rice, and an order of friend green tomatoes. Really good!! Also, had a peach 🍑 pie for dessert. Portions are large, so I have left overs. Staff were nice and friendly. Give them a chance! Well worth it.”

“I have eating at Sara's since she opened. He menu is one of the largest if not the largest menu in New Bern. everything I have ever eaten at Sara's is delicious. The meatballs are large and delicious, and I love the marinara sauce. Service is always good with a smile. and I don't know of another restaurant that earned 100% from the NC Health Department.”

“I love Chinese food. I eat here alot. Never had a problem until yesterday. My lo mein noodles werent fresh. They actually smelled. I worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years plus. Stuff happens. But i called, Sarah was super nice. I took it back and they refunded my money. Like i said things happen, it how they are handled that counts. Yes i would eat there again.”
