“I love beef tongue tacos and honestly have a crazy high standard for them and these were very much up to the task. I also got cheek tacos for my first time and they were good enough I wasn’t sad I didn’t get all tongue. Tacos come with onion cilantro lime wedges and 2 sauces. I recommend using lime and both sauces and you are going to be very happy with your lunch. Also 4 tacos for 12.80$ can’t be beat nowadays especially with flavor that makes them worth even more.“

“This guy is an absolute genius with food, his menu consists of his classic burger which in itself is one of the better burgers I’ve ever had and another option (between 1 and 3 different dishes) that are always incredibly unique and always amazing. I have been going to his truck since the first day he opened. His menu covers almost everything and he even makes every sauce, salsa, hot sauce and even most condiments himself. I consider his truck to be the best I have personally eaten at and considering the fact that he has a new menu every week it’s almost like a new truck every week but if you are a creature of habit the hamburger is always a great option. He is also fairly new and doing this all by himself which I find incredibly impressive.“

“We stopped in for a quick lunch on a road trip from Chattanooga to Charlotte. One of the people in our party was vegan, so he suggested coming here. We have had mixed experiences with vegan restaurants in the past, but this was amazing. I had the gyro, which was as good of a gyro as I have had anywhere, vegan or otherwise, and the fries were amazing. The service was fast, friendly, and helpful; and the restaurant was clean and well organized. This is definitely on the top of our list for places to eat in Asheville.“

The ownership and staff are amazing and have always been welcoming to myself and all of my diverse groups of friends and family. We love Gypsy Queen!“

“My husband and I enjoyed the shrimp Po boys tonight at the Highland brewing and it was AMAZING!!! We are from New Orleans so it was super special to get a po boy in Asheville with REAL French bread. I loved Grush's twist on the Po boy with the pickled veggies and the delicious sauce. 10/10 recommend them. I can't wait to try more food items but I may just keep eating the Po boys because they were that good! Also, Panda was the SWEETEST and Grush is so talented. ❤️“

“Tucked back with colored picnic tables and lights away from the hustle and bustle. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. Amazing flavor and seasonings and even have desert options. The shawarma was amazing and my kid who doesn't eat anything had about 5 pitas! Sooo good. Will be going back again. Staff was excellent.“

“WE have always had great service here and unlike one review ( which was probably a competitor) the owners and staff have always been extremely helpful and polite. When my wife calls ahead, they recognize her voice and ask if she wants the regular, which for us has been the sopes. “First time eating here - had the Fish Tacos. They were fantastic!!! Loaded. Lots of flavors. They were honestly Much better than I was anticipating they'd be. I will say that they weren't Filled w/ fish - I'm a simple one and like lots of fish w/ just the right amount of complimentary flavor- but they Did have enough fish that you could taste it all together and they were just right for what they were. I assume they rest of their food is prepared w/ the same care and skill.“

“OK, it's not the best taco I've ever had but pretty darn good. It hit several positive buttons--fresh, hot, simple, inexpensive, good service, nice people. Health rating was posted on the front window--94.5. My search for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex led me here. This place is hard to find. It's a food truck next to a gas station with a sign out front that says "Food Center" in the very small town of Dana. They have some outside picnic tables to sit at. I'll be back to try some other menu items.“
