“Wow! Kim Lloyd, the owner at Celine and Co. impressed us from our very first meeting - Dec. 2020 when who knew what the next six months held. She was reasonable, flexible, managed to provide a tasting that month, and never failed to deliver what she promised. She ensured her staff were all vaccinated, worked out food arrangements with the band we hired, and provided the positive energy and service delivery beyond what we expected. She was available and responded quickly to questions or requests. She made very helpful suggestions and gave guidance for handling a multitude of issues from liquor to decor. In the end, we scheduled three separate occasions over a four day period - a family dinner at our home, the actual reception at her venue “The Hideaway”, and a Sunday “Brunch Before You Go” for our out of town friends and family. All three events were exceptional. The day of our wedding reception she and her Hideaway staff worked with us on a visit from my daughters, the florists set up and the band setup. That night the food was perfect and the staff easily accommodated various dietary restrictions -vegan, vegetarians, gluten free. Everyone raved about the food and decor. Her staff helped with everything from directing our guests to a last minute wardrobe malfunction. One of our guests is an retired event organizer who used to plan fundraisers for high-end charities in NY and Europe. He was very impressed with both the food and skillful management of the entire evening. When the bill came it was, to the dollar, what we have been led to expect. We’re not used to that, we’re from Florida! We would cheerfully do it all over again and plan to engage Kim and her staff at Celine and Company for future parties. Simply amazed! “We had an absolutely incredible experience with Food Experience catering our 120-person wedding at Haiku in Asheville. They built a menu off a few ideas we had and filled in around. The tasting was incredible and showcased their connection to local farmers and artisans. At the wedding, the paellas cooked on-site in enormous paella pans was a spectacle to see. Ana welcomed us into her gorgeous home for the tasting that had breathtaking views of Asheville! Ana & Santiago met up with our wedding planner to map out our rehearsal dinner venue for where they would set up/cook. since our venue did not have an oven this required some extra creativeness to make sure food was hott but Mikasa made it work for the space. The food Cielo prepared for our wedding was simply outstanding. Numerous guests approached us during and after the event to rave about the cuisine, with many stating it was the finest they had ever tasted at a wedding. The lamb, salmon, fresh vegetables, lentils and grains were cooked to perfection, showcasing Cielo's culinary expertise. Much of this was done on an open grill in the pouring rain, it must be mentioned! The appetizers and cocktail hour spread were equally impressive, both in terms of taste and presentation.
