“This was my first time here, and I will likely be back with more friends. You order at the counter and pick your food up when it's ready, then bus your own table when finished. There are several vegetarian options on the menu. Please see additional information included with this review. I loved the portobello bowl, and my friend had the house burger with sweet potato waffle fries, and enjoyed that too. Prices are fair and portions are large. The staff member taking our order was friendly and made a good recommendation when I asked for her opinion. I LOVE the large outdoor seating area. After paying for our food we were shown another screen with tip amounts on it. I'm not sure what we tipped for, since there is no table service; and I thought the city council voted for restaurant workers to be paid a living wage of $15/hr. I guess I need to be clued in - am I tipping the kitchen staff, person taking my order or what? Coming from a culture where tipping is for table service, and there was none, I guess I'm confused. “We are traveling across NC and wanted some lunch. Randomly found this on Google and gave it a try... Holy moly!!!! Outstanding!!! Great, fresh, legit street tacos! The chorizo was just perfect. As was the pollo, asada and al pastor. The red side sauce was brilliant. If you are hungry stop here and get your taco fix. It will not disappoint and now I know why it has such high reviews. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT FOOD! I live in Southern California, about 2 hours from Mexico... I'm pretty familiar with amazing Mexican food!And @Joe K who gave one star, complained about no bathroom, limited parking, no seating? ITS A TACO TRUCK... And one of the best I've ever eaten at. Unreal... LOL And the meat was not even close to double grilled... Go back to Taco Bell where they have all the seating you want, tons of parking, lots of toilets... and tacos made with 49% meat that taste like cardboard. Sounds like the place for you!“
“While trying to find a spot for lunch on New Year's Eve, we decided to eat here since the menu had a lot of variety. Actually eating there was great - the restaurant was cozy and we sat by the wood burning fireplace. The proprietress was so friendly and had a fun conversation about her father and Greece. Food was generously portioned and very tasty. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back.“
“Granny's is our favorite "Best Kept Secret"!! Awesome cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chili, tater tots and old fashioned crinkle fries!! We always enjoy our food and our visit. Customer Service is tops! dine-in area is small, but they stay very busy with drive-through and carry-outs. Love it!!“
