This place was amazing to discover while staying in flat rock for the week. Enjoyed some food and drinks while playing some board games that we never played. Love the concept of the store. Getting away from the devices and spend some quality time like the good old days.

Super fun and funky game café! We love taking our 4 year old daughter there early on weekend mornings. My wife and I enjoy hot espresso drinks and our daughter loves the different games, many which are even suited to young children, which is amazing. This is a super family friendly atmosphere, especially in the morning hours and they even serve animal crackers for my daughter when I get an Americano. The staff is incredibly friendly and engaging. Rowan, Jared, and Mike are Awesome! This place is five stars all the way; I highly recommend!

We had a bit of a time trying to figure out what games to play but the staff was so friendly and helped us with recommendations and even playing a round with us to help us understand the rules of the chosen game. I think 7 dollars per person just to use the board games is a bit much but I guess if you plan to be there all day its not too bad. The food was delicious too! I had the vegan grilled cheese. Although, the Brownie had parts that were pretty hard.

So we went to Well Played today, the drinks were good and they did have a ton of games to select from. They had music playing and also a trivia set up on one side. The only complaint I had would be the food. The Parmesan fries were a huge let down, they tasted burnt with some Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. I told one of the employees that they were not good and he just agreed with me. I paid for them anyways but $10 for those fries felt like a huge waste. The Mac and cheese was not hot and my guys sandwich literally had one slice of meat in the club sandwich. Wouldn't have been such a big deal but the food there is super overpriced for what we got. We went with another couple and they felt the same exact way. The ice cream was good though! All and all if you're exploring Ashville with friends and want to go in for drinks and games I would suggest it but I would definitely suggest getting lunch somewhere else.

We found this place completely on accident, and it became one of the highlights of our trip! You do need to pay to have access to the games, but once you do you can come and go during the whole day. The staff explained it all very well. We played several games and really enjoyed ourselves! We also got a brownie, which was delicious. It's SO cute inside, and just has really good vibes. This would be such a fun place to bring a big group of people and spend an evening or get dinner.

Great atmosphere, great food (bigger menu than most resturants near me), and lots of good games

Super fun way to spend the afternoon! Hundreds of board games to choose from to play, good food and drinks. Good for adults, families, groups. Great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, too. Fun space, super nice people. Have been here multiple times, and will continue to be back!

Great selection of games. Really impressed they had Heat, which is a bit obscure. Friendly staff. Will be back.

Oh my, this place makes me so happy.Games are clearly grouped and labeled by complexity and estimated game length, as well as whether a game is ideal (or can be played) by just two people. The food menu is bursting with puns, a clear indicator the folks working here know their target audience.Board game selection covers the full range so you can start with something familiar, then experiment with something new, and go back and forth before you realize you've been there for 5 hours. We were in town for a few days so the single day pass made sense for us, but if we were local we would absolutely invest in the monthly membership.Expert or novice, this is a welcoming environment. Go, play, be merry.Kid-friendliness: Games are clearly grouped by complexity and estimated game length.

We love well played! Such a fun spot for families or couples to go and spend a night, and the food is pretty good considering it isn't the main focus. If you want to try any new games, highly recommend watching youtube tutorials on them before coming in, it does get pretty loud on week nights.
