Took over an hour to receive a pizza that was burned to a black char. We were told they have a new kitchen staff. Clearly not trained. Profit was placed above quality and customer satisfaction.
Stopped by on our way to Asheville for a drink and a quick bite. Apparently they were closed (hours were not listed on the outside) and the door was unlocked. Black Mountain Pizza & Ale House is a popular dining destination in Black Mountain. Their Tripper Harrison pizza, especially with hot honey, is a must-try. The traditional pepperoni pizza is also fantastic, with amazing garlic and flavorful bread. The bar offers a cool atmosphere, and the service is top-notch. The variety of delicious appetizers, such as pizza tots, fried mozzarella, and pistachio and whipped feta carrots, are sure to impress. Customers can pair their meal with a refreshing lavender simple syrup cocktail or a smoke-infused old fashioned. The fresh dough and friendly staff, including the bartender Anna and server Tori, contribute to the overall enjoyable dining experience.
