Excellent brewery with staff that are passionate about their cause and craft. I wish the second floor of their deck was open, it would mean I would go to Black Mountain more often to enjoy the brewery and shops around town.

Great little brewery with a bold fun vibe and experience!! Dog friendly!! Beer only, no food.

I love this place. It passed inspection then!! Documents to prove past. Sounds like it’s one’s opinion wanting change. And town council is running it too m sure. From where I see it! It looks Sound!!! It’s a part of BM. Leave it Be!! Why complain now. It’s bringing business to Black Mountain. Good people 🇺🇸
Besides it’s a beautiful mural of Roberta Flack! Why??????

Nice beers - unfortunately the upstairs decking is still under renovation, but I imagine it will be a nice place to be soon! Caught these photos of the Roberta Flack mural one misty morning whilst out to coffee.

We just ate there...awesome beer .Definitely pet friendly..we've eaten a lot of bar b q and this was definitely the best sandwich ever we're in our 70s, so yes it's great. It's also great that they have recently opened back iip from Helene.

I'm a big fan. I had the Scattered Remants Hefe and it was outstanding. Small little interior space, but a nice covered back patio. If you're in Black Mountain and need a place to grab a beer and chill, you must go here. Also, I learned that Roberta Flack was born in Black Mountain because of the cool mural on the building.

We popped in here while walking around Black Mountain. Nice cozy bar, with lots of outdoor seating and dog friendly. The outdoor space has 2 levels and they have a food truck on site, we did not eat there but it smelled good. Rob our beertender was nice and gave us some great recommendations for things to do in the area. I got a sour wood honey lager in honor of the Sourwood fest that was happening the weekend we were here. We were told parking can be a challenge during tourist season, we found a spot in a municipal lot a few blocks away. They also have live music on occasion. Love the Roberta Flack mural on the side of the building, she was born in Black Mountain.

We stopped in Friday afternoon at 1:30. Our server Rob was way cool and friendly. I got the Eagle lager. Beer flavored beer. Jo got the Sourwood Honey Lager. This beer was brewed for the annual Sourwood festival. I like the cozy bar setup. We had to park at the Visitor Center. Parking is an issue if you have a large vehicle and it’s the weekend. Dog friendly. They make crowlers and some to go.

Stopped in. Wanted to order. Bartender just looked at me and then went on to keep joking with other customers and served ar least 3 others who came in after me. I am on vacation and would have liked to try. Maybe it's a friendly to locals only place.
