Great place to eat. Seafood was excellent. Staff was super friendly and service was great and the prices were more then reasonable. It's a go to if your in Calabash.
Its not vacation time till we hit the hut!
Dined in and it was perfect on a rainy Saturday. We had the Shrimp and Oyster Sandwich. Lightly breaded, generous portions of fish, french fries and complimentary hush puppies. Super delish and had a perfect attentive young lady as a server. At check out discussed menu options and was told a couple of other items to try. Great comfort food and better service. We will be back.

Calabash Seafood Hut is a small restaurant known for its fantastic seafood. The flounder is a standout, praised for its freshness, flakiness, and ample size. The Calabash shrimp, a specialty of the restaurant, is highly recommended. Customers enjoy the hush puppies, which are served all you can eat, although some find them a bit bland compared to other places. Suggestions have been made for a little more flour in the hush puppies to make them fluffier. The coleslaw and crinkle fries served with meals also receive positive remarks. The service is quick and friendly, with accommodations for wheelchair accessibility. Many customers appreciate the convenience of a handwashing sink for outdoor dining. The restaurant does have limited seating and parking, but its charm and delicious food make for a great dining experience. Even though it may need a little updating, diners are glad they stopped here and often find the generous portions to be more than one meal.
