“We were on our way through Asheville and found this little gem after our first choice was closed. Do glad we did. \n\nThey were quite full/busy but they fit us in and were very kind and gracious about it. \n\nThe entire experience was special. About four different staff members checked on us throughout our evening. \n\nTheir knowledge of the menu was incredible, and especially their very extensive wine list. \n\nWe started with their “Darling” bread and butter. Absolutely amazing. I would have been happy with just that. \n\nTheir offerings of different locally grown greens was amazing. \n\nWe had the lamb kebabs and rabbit pasta for our main. Our outstanding sever recommended two incredible wines to pair. \n\nAn incredible experience from start to finish.“

“What a great place to celebrate our birthdays. Two from KY and two from Augusta GA to enjoy celebrating all four of us having birthdays. Stuart who waited on us was EXCELLENT. We asked him about the damage to Asheville and we could hear it in his voice how hurt he was because others suffered so much. He was very gracious that we chose Asheville to celebrate our birthdays. I had the best shrimp and grits ever and I'm 73. Every meal the fried oysters, salads, Reuben Sandwich there is no negative experience. I hesitated to order the banana pudding but was intrigued by the description. So glad I did, it was so different than what I've ever had but the BEST I've ever had. Thank you to everyone working that day on 1/22 that wished us Happy Birthdays and made this such a wonderful memory for all 4 of us. Very welcoming, great personalities but above all GREAT FOOD.“

If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.

“The Sierra Nevada brewery is awesome! First off the facility is absolutely fantastic. It’s large but the building and the entire campus are immaculately clean & well kept. It still looks brand new. The tour itself was excellent providing great historical content & insight into their state of the art current operations. Following up the tour with a visit to the Taproom restaurant is a must. The food is phenomenal & the service is top notch. Finally, it was so enjoyable to finish the day with a beer on the patio. I give the Sierra Nevada brewery tour & Taproom my highest recommendation. Can’t wait to take other friends for a visit.“

“We had the most incredible birthday dinner and I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff made the evening feel special and truly went above and beyond to make my birthday memorable.

We ordered the duck and the elk, and both dishes were absolutely perfect. The duck was cooked beautifully with crisp skin and rich, flavorful meat, while the elk was tender, perfectly prepared, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite felt thoughtfully crafted and elevated without being overwhelming. It was one of those meals you keep talking about long after you leave.

The service was just as impressive as the food—attentive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had an amazing experience. They paid attention to every detail and made the celebration feel effortless and special.

“Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Lovely ambience in the space. It feels like the kitchen really cares about the food it brings out. One thing I particularly liked was how well all the dishes were seasoned. A bit of heat here, a bit of spice there, and a dash of sweet when needed. And speaking of sweet, the lemon curd cheesecake is a wonder. I love it when the cheesecake part of the cheesecake isn't oversweet. The lemon curd gives a sweet and tart compliment to the creaminess of the dairy in the dish. It's dangerous, I tell you! We'll be back for more.“

“We had an excellent experience at Salt Face Mule! Our bartender, Kennedy, provided outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. “December 30th, 2025: We had the most nice experience, and it was all thanks to our server! A group of 7 of us went out for very late lunch lunch, but it became dinner, and experience is above, and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. The staff was so kind, respectful, and attentive, checking on us frequently and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic—but what truly made the evening unforgettable was staff. The place brought such positive energy and made our entire group feel so well cared for. If I could rate 4+ stars, I would. We had 2 Cuban Sandwiches, comes with chips, we also shared a Mac&Cheese between my wife, and me; Our two daughters shared 1 pot roast, a brisket with mac&cheese; our grand son had the ribeye steak, my son in law had a steak sandwich, my granddaughter had chicken tenders with french fries! “It’s our favorite place to stop in for breakfast when we’re in Asheville. One of the biscuit French toasts and the Yam Scram is always on our table with a third wild card option thrown in to round out the feast. The service is always prompt and friendly. Aaron was stellar.
