“I've been eating Indian food from restaurants for years. I'm picky! India Gate's food is excellent. When I visit friends near there, we often get their food. We like it so much that we chose them to prepare all the food for an upcoming big party that we will be hosting. I recommend them!“

“We like pizza and a salad makes it into a nice meal. Their house salad was a good start - hmm, also healthy food! Then we chose the Quatro Formaggio (4 cheese) pizza - (they have quite a variety of different toppings) and we like it cooked crispy - and it was! The food was excellent, the service friendly, and the atmosphere very clean and pleasant. A wonderful accompaniment for a long discussion over food.“

“One of my favorite weekend breakfast spots. Wonderful food, friendly service.
I'm pretty much a creature of habit so I have quiche and sliced tomatoes, but the folks I eat with get the avocado toast with crispy bacon, the chicken biscuit, the rise and shine breakfast, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. All outstanding meals. We do have one friend who always gets cake for breakfast.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love coming here for Sunday mornings.“

“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

“We received the best service from Mariah this Sat. It was a party of 25 guests, she serviced use with 100% customer service. the food was great and we were leaving a funeral which was a bad day for all, we left feeling a littler lighter, due to the our server. She is a GEM.“

“Went for breakfast while in town for a friend’s graduation. The menu looked great and the ambiance and staff were awesome. I was initially hesitant to try some of the options because the flavors they’re using have to be done right. Their omelettes were out of the park and the shrimp and grits were great. Will be back for the food and service next time we’re in town.“

“Smallcakes made a delicious and beautiful 4-tier almond cake for our August wedding. The guests were blown away by the design and taste of the cake. People kept coming up to us afterward commenting on the cake. We did an at-home cake tasting and phone consultation beforehand. The cakes were delicious, and everyone was super professional. Highly recommended for wedding cakes! You won’t be disappointed.“
