Even though I'm pretty out of the way, I always love coming back to Speakeasy. But this review is about karaoke night lol. Karaoke at Speakeasy is so amazing (as someone who has karaoke'd at many venues in the area) but it's a very frustrating experience. I dropped by after an event up the street, trying to make sure I didn't get there too late. I put my name in for a song about 9:30 and I had to call it when, by 10:45, that song still hadn't been pulled up yet! I love that regulars...read full review
Bartenders are always so helpful. Always great live music.
This place has been my go-to bar for karaoke since the station closed. Everyone here is wonderful and amazing!
(Also I was there all day Christmas 2023 and I'm pretty damn sure no one died ❤️)

The bar is situated in downtown Carrboro, at the corner of West Main and Greensboro St. The location can be a bit hard to find, but it's a great place to have an awesome night with music and entertainment. The staff is wonderful, the prices are good, and the atmosphere draws in amazing people. The owners and managers are helpful and go out of their way to remedy any issues, making it a bar that customers always want to return to.
