“Carrboro’s best kept secret. Joe is a great bartender so the cocktails are on point and the food is too.“

“We've been to our fair share of tapas spots and all of the chef's current digs. Proximo was good, but I think it's trying too hard. The service was excellent. Our server knew everything (except what a paella was). He helped pair some fabulous wines and cordials. The cheese selections and the desserts were absolutely top notch and memorable. The other dishes were just alright. Unfortunately our ribs were a bit dry and the iberico was somewhat tasteless. The wine selection is short but unique and the lack of liquor license is a bit odd, considering their other spots have them. The price was great, but the dishes are rushed. Like, supersonic speed coming from the kitchen. I expected to spend some time there but everything happened so fast, we were in and out...not like a typical tapas. So, take that for what you will and maybe because it's a small seated area, their expectation is you come and go? Not sure, but I think they're trying something here that misses the mark.
Quick Edit: I don't know what some of the reviews are saying that you have difficulty choosing dishes and couldn't order all of them. Honestly, this place is so affordable. If you're a foodie, and you're coming here to review, there's no reason you can't fit the bill to try them all. We almost completed the menu and with a bottle of reserve wine and were quite happy with the overall price.“

“We had a nice lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t very busy so we got our food quickly. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was cute. They have a quite a few vegan options! (Sandwich, salad, and appetizers)

“I was so disappointed with my meal as I had been looking forward to trying their spanakopita which came with a Greek salad. The salad was very good but the spanakopita was terrible. It was so dry that I couldn't cut it with a table knife! I've had this dish at other places and this is the worst I have had--order with caution!“

“I came to town to do an event and was staying at the courtyard Marriott and was starving. Found this place across the street. The staff was very nice specifically Blanca she was my weight staff person. She was fantastic very friendly. Very nice. The food was great and quick and hot and tasty and for the price I paid it was worth what I paid and just a very good experience.“

“Since I moved to Chapel Hill, Lucha Tigre has been my favorite restaurant. Their service and quality can’t be denied, but I am so upset that the Asian Glazed Chicken (my favorite dish) has been removed from the menu.“

“Wonderful wood fired pizza and the chili oil at the table is delightful. Either inside or outside is nice. A few local beers on draft is a plus. The gelatos are great cap on the meal. The Parma pizza is my favorite. The gluten free crust is one of the best I’ve ever tried.
