“I’ve been a vegan for 26 years and am new to Charlotte. Tried this place for the first time today and I will be back. Loved the sandwich I got and there are so many options on the menu I look forward to trying. One critique would be no prices listed on the menu—this was incredibly weird. I had looked at prices online prior to visiting and my sandwich cost more than it was listed online. I still enjoyed the food but no prices listed? Seems shady and will turn a lot of folks off. Since there is a sign board in shop there’s really no excuses for this since changing prices could easily be modified without re-printing menus.“

“Went this morning to pick up an online prepaid order and was prepared to wait in the line that wrapped around the building despite requesting a 30 minute window to get order. Was pleasantly surprised when employee said there were actually separate lines for prepaid and walk-ins. Antoinette (think that’s her name) was incredibly nice and pleasant 🙂 Cashier was also polite and friendly. Order was double checked for accuracy. Social distancing and masks enforced by entire staff. Overall line moved quickly and was back in my car in under 25 mins—which, let’s face it, is a miracle given how 2020 has been going.“

“Blanchard’s Restaurant & Deli is one of those Charlotte hidden gems that’s been quietly doing things right for nearly 20 years. Tucked into a small spot off Carmel Road and attached to a gas station, it’s easy to overlook — but that would be a mistake.
This place is all about good, honest food and consistency. The menu is classic deli-style comfort food done well, with generous portions and flavors that keep people coming back year after year. It’s the kind of spot where locals stop in regularly, and you can tell it’s earned its reputation the old-fashioned way: by serving quality food and treating customers right.
The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, but that’s part of the charm. You’re not here for frills — you’re here because you want a solid meal, fast, fresh, and made by people who care about what they’re serving.
If you know, you know. And if you don’t yet, Blanchard’s is absolutely worth a stop.“

“Been here 3 times and I will be back. Food always feels freshly made, delivered hot. Fries aren't soaked in salt, buns dont fall apart from grease, soda machine is always balanced so your coke isn't flat. They seem to make good choices with how they operate. Reasonably priced, too.“

“Great breakfast and delicious sandwiches, both cold & hot, on a great menu. They have snacks, drinks, wine & beer and very good coffee---6 flavors to choose from. There is also ice cream and other sundries. Very busy on weekend mornings, with long lines for the deli.“

“Groucho’s Deli at 5110 Park Rd. has a real good thing going. I enjoyed great service there yesterday afternoon. The take out sandwiches and salad were excellent, the order 100% correct, and very fast. Thanks to Bruce Miller for your patience and persistence.“

“I want to give a huge shout-out to the team at Reid’s Fine Foods on Trade Street. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by how quickly they handle orders and how well they work together to make things happen. The level of teamwork, communication, and efficiency they show especially during busy moments is truly unmatched!“
