“The Carving Board is one of my aunt's favorites (she is allergic to cooking). I needed more than an average sandwich, so I headed here. Everything looks amazing, but I finally settled on a chicken salad sandwich made just as I hoped for. The sandwich is generous! Huge! Half a sandwich is a full meal. Choose The Carving Board for upscale sides, beautiful salads, and amazing desserts.“
“I ordered dinner from this little place on DoorDash one Sunday afternoon; I was drawn in with their low prices, wide variety of food options, and they have a low delivery fee. I ordered a cheeseburger, a chili dog with onions, and the spaghetti with meat sauce. I recommend this place for their prices, but here’s why you’re getting what you pay for: The Cheeseburger: when ordering your toppings, take their options VERY LITERALLY. I ordered my burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayonnaise, and “melted cheddar cheese”. In my mind, I’m thinking “they must steam melt the cheese over the grill”, versus the “cheddar cheese” option which I assume is just that but I took it as “a cold slice of cheese placed on after the party comes off the grill.” The burger I had was left half eaten because this cheese-flavored product they put on was farrrrr too sweet for my palate. But at the end of the day, this was my mistake for ordering it. I won’t make that decision again. 4/10 The Hot Dog: pretty decent, nothing super special about it. The Frank was definitely all-beef, which I can appreciate. The onions, I think, could me minced instead of diced. 6/10 The Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce: for a restaurant, I’d say it’s poor. For a cafe attached to a Citgo? It’s decent! The noodles were a little chewy, I’m assuming they weren’t made fresh to order, and the sauce was hearty but could use a little more seasoning. Even a dash of oregano, basil, red pepper, cumin, and garlic powder would really enhance the overall depth of flavor to your sauce! 7/10 Overall, again, it’s not a bad deal for the price you pay. It was the cheapest DoorDash delivery I ever had, even after adding a tip. I would still recommend, if you want to order different options at once.“
“Food is great. I just wish they would answer their phone so you can place a to go order ahead of time, so it’s ready when you get there. That’s how it used to be. I called several times, it directed me to voice mail which then directed me to order online. I drive up there to place the order and it’s not busy. There was one person placing an order, no one dining. Im older. I prefer the old school way of calling on a telephone, but on the bright side, the internet does allow me to leave a review voicing my opinion about this. I could understand if it were busy but it was far from it. Why have a phone if you’re not going to answer it. You would save money on a phone bill every month. But it’s usually consistently good food, that’s why I only took off one star.“
“I have always been impressed with their quality of food and services. I highly recommend the Grilled Chicken Taco (Handmade) Salad, Hot Dogs, and Homemade Chips. Great varieties of delicious and yummy food??Parking: There is Handicap Parking right in front of entrance. Many parking spaces. However, may have too walk a little further, because this Delii is often very busy. Also, designated Carry Out vs Inside Dinning.Kid-friendliness: Always see many families with children.Wheelchair accessibility: Two Handicap Parking Spaces. Between spaces, entrance is flat for using wheel chairs, canes, crutches, etc.“
“Our first time to O'Briens after hearing so many good reviews- we ordered the Coleman & the Pastrami sandwich - Delicious ! The homemade Mac salad was phenomenal & oh those pickles! The service was beyond great, friendly staff, good prices - if I could give 6 stars this place would get it!“
