Rusty’s has the best cheese burger in Charlotte. In fact it’s the best cheese burger I’ve ever eaten in my entire life.

Rusty's Deli & Grille is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed. With a wide variety of menu items and weekday specials, it can get busy, but the turnover is quick. The South Charlotte cheesesteak with added beef and mushrooms was phenomenal, as well as the Reuben sandwich, which was delightfully cheesy. The burgers are large and flavorful, with plenty of bacon. The ability to customize your own sandwich is a plus, and the croissants are soft and delicious. Many customers enjoy their chicken cheesesteak with grilled onions, and the fries are always a good choice. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and remembers regulars' names, creating a warm atmosphere. If you're craving fresh meats and tasty sandwiches reminiscent of upstate NY delis, Rusty's is the place to be when in the Charlotte area.
