I had a pleasant experience for my first time being in your restaurant. I ordered the chefs special which was the fish, even with the sauce it was kind of tough. I took it to go so I can make it to my symphony. Other the that my drink, appetizer, and service was perfect I will try next time I come through Charlotte. Thank you for your time
Originally had a reservation for another location but the time was later than we wanted. Found McCormick and Schmick’s and I must say I believe it was meant to be because everything was outstanding. Great food, great service and the atmosphere was really nice. We traveled from Columbia SC for Father’s Day and my husband has not stopped talking about the truffle Mac and cheese. Thanks for helping to make this a very special memory.❤️
Amazingly - we were the only table on a mid afternoon weekday!\nThe Hostess (waitress) “forgot” our initial order of grilled oysters with our 2 bowls of soup - stating “I didn’t write it down”,…. Then a while later we added the trouffle Mac & cheese to our menu - She showed up 15-20 minutes later with the bill and asked “would you like anything else?” Which I responded - “the trouffle Mac & cheese” - which she again stated “oh,…. McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks offers a nice atmosphere and great service, even in a busy environment. The seafood alfredo, steak, scallops, and ahi were enjoyed, but some halibut dishes were found overcooked and dry. Crab cakes were considered decent. The restaurant is priced around $50 per person. The overall service was fantastic, with attentive staff and a low noise level, creating a comfortable setting. The manager and chef came to verify food and service, adding to the positive experience. The food was very good, and the staff handled large groups smoothly, making it perfect for special occasions. Parking can be a challenge, but a nearby parking deck makes visits more convenient.
