I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Ecuadorian restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The highlight of the evening was definitely the "caldo de pata" dish. This traditional Ecuadorian soup is made with beef or pork feet and is known for its rich and flavorful broth.As soon as the bowl of caldo de pata was placed in front of me, I was immediately transported back to my grandmother's kitchen. Although I didn't want to eat a plant-based option it was really very good! And I longed to have what everyone else was having with the rise and the beans and the beef and the chicken but maybe next time. It all looks so delicious. I'm sure you can tell the plant-based option and it was wonderful! I will be returning! However I think I'm going to have to slide some rice on my plate as well.
