After a 10+ year pause on Japanese steakhouses, we had a large party here for my son’s birthday. He and his friends really enjoyed the dinner. My husband and I sat at the sushi bar and ate some rolls and edamame.The atmosphere was dark and a light smoke hung in the air. I had a takeout order that included a hibachi combination, dragon roll, and nakato roll. The food was excellent and packaged appropriately. This restaurant is my preferred choice for hibachi. I also appreciate the preview they do.

Meh. Haven't been in 12 years, I remember why. Service was very attentive, but the quality of food is sub par at best. For $40, after seeing the ayce buffet quality steak, I assume the price is more about the show than food quality. A true Charlotte staple and long time restaurant, it was good for nostalgia when this was the new thing in town, but definitely not worth the porce tag for mediocre food.
