First impressions are everything right? As I walked towards the door with my baby in one arm and an umbrella in the other...the door opened up with a warm welcome! My husband and I had our first real dinner out with our 8 month old daughter and we had such a great experience. Our waitress was very attentive, the host/managers/owners (not sure!) were super friendly, and our food was delicious! The food was some of the best Italian we have had in Charlotte. First time here tonight and it was amazing. Service was top notch from start to finish. The owner checked in on us 2-3 times during the evening to make sure we were good. The gnocchi was the best I have ever had. Wonderful evening overall with delicious authentic Italian food and wine. Cant beat that. I highly recommend Sensi.

Look here folks. I heard a lot of opinions about Sensi and read every Yelp review and every other review. Expectations are everything. This is not an Italian restaurant as you are thinking about it. It is a very European culinary experience centered around Italian food. You won't get a bottomless bowl of pasta or unlimited breadsticks. You will get attentive service, knowledgeable wait staff and a unique dining experience and a nice Italian wine list, among others.
