Got the Soul Leg and another turkey leg and the food was delicious. I met one of the owners, Barry, he was very nice and appreciative that I stopped by his establishment. “I've lived in Kannapolis for 20 years and over that time I have been to Mr. C's a few times a year. Truth be told I only go when I'm having a junk food binge. Their attention to quality hasn't changed, it's good food. As many restaurants have cut corners, I've seen standards maintained here. I've never seen this place as a seafood restaurant, but I stopped going to Mayflower for my fish because i began to notice the Mayflower food made me sick, my theory is their oil isn't changed, poor sanitary conditions. Mr. C's chicken is the best intown and their fish/seafood is quality. Never had Mr. C's burgers.“

My daughter order the fried shrimp and lobster, and I was blown away by the freshness and flavor. The shrimp were perfectly crispy, while the lobster had a delightful tenderness that made each bite absolutely amazing!

The mac & cheese, which was nothing short of heavenly. Creamy, cheesy, and baked to perfection, it was a comforting side that paired beautifully with the seafood. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and it truly felt like a homemade dish that warms the soul.

The chicken and shrimp combo was another highlight. The chicken and shrimp bowl was served over a bed of rice inside of the half cut pineapple. Proportion size pineapples added twist to this dish, which was amazing. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The combination of tropical flavors was refreshing and complemented the heartier dishes beautifully.

Lastly, I can't forget to mention the flounder fish. It was light, flaky, and seasoned just right. The freshness of the fish really shone through, making it a delightful end to my meal.

Overall, Cuzzo Cuisine exceeded my expectations in every way. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. If you're in the Charlotte area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that will leave you craving more. Five stars all the way!“
