“We dine here when we visit Charlotte on vacation. The last 3 times were excellent. This time the fourth time, was not satisfactory. My partner ordered a slab of ribs and more than half of the ribs was fatty. Also, a physical fight between two women and a man occurred by the front door. If we were still standing, waiting to be seated, we would be in the middle of the fight. Not the restaurant's fault, but ruined our dining experience.“

“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! “Refreshing Lunch Spot with Great Food and Service

On a random Tuesday while out adulting, I decided to stop by Maiz Agua Sal for a late lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. The decor is refreshing and modern, with the tree at the entrance being a standout design feature—it sets a great tone for the dining experience. We were seated immediately, and the service throughout was superb. Our waitress was delightful and very knowledgeable about the menu, making the experience even better.

The complimentary chips and salsa were a hit, and the peanut salsa was a pleasant surprise. Trust me, don’t knock it until you try it! The guacamole was incredibly fresh, and the tacos were delicious. Their 3 for $10 taco special is a great deal, and each one was packed with flavor. I also tried the Huarache De Tinga, which was absolutely delicious.

I almost forgot to mention the churros—a perfect way to end the meal! They were a sweet, satisfying treat that tied the whole experience together.

Although I was only there for lunch, I’m already planning to return to enjoy their drinks and check out the cool fire pit outside. Maiz Agua Sal is a fantastic spot for great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and exceptional service. Highly recommend!“

The cocktail selection was big and fancy. Really good all of them. A bit pricey but definitely a recommended date night.

My only complaint is the membership, which only gets you access to the bar. Which is a great bar... But there's several other great bars without a membership that requires you put your credit card number, works as a yearly subscription that if you cancel, you lose the rest of the year.... Kinda predatory.

So since we're being predatory, I'm gonna complain about a lot of petty stuff as well.
-Some of the staff was dressed very casual. Not uniformly. Not what I expect from a club I'm paying a membership.
- bathrooms toilet was not flushed when I'm coming in. Pretty not membership worthy.
- water is tap water. And the one that taste bad. You can buy 24 water bottle pack with half of one membership.

What am I paying for?

Anyways. Besides those predatory practice, it is a great place with great food and great drinks. Just had to speak my mind“

“Ho Ho is my partner and I’s go to spot for Chinese food in Charlotte. It’s nice that we are able to order all vegetarian; we usually get the spring rolls, fried rice, crab rangoon, and sesame tofu. The food is always very tasty, and it’s a pretty good bang for your buck. Also, the woman who hands us our food when we pick up always brightens our day, she’s very polite and always seems happy to see us.“

Plane was delayed 3 and 1/2 hours so I got stuck here... And surprise surprise, an amazingly curated '70s playlist playing overhead on a pretty decent speaker system. Really kind of nice. I've got to ask if it's Spotify, or what?... I'm nostalgically enjoying a glass of wine and memories of high school and my first two years of college. So how fun is that? Also they have a fun little line list... Actually discovered a newTempranillo(Marques de Caceres).
Plus the wait staff is fast friendly and intelligent. So what's not to like? If you're in terminal C and you're waiting for a plane this is not a bad place to be.“

When I tell you he went above & beyond & really made my day. The food was excellent as usual, he was the light of my day...hate I didn't get his name ❤️????“
