“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! If you're looking for quiet, request the side room - with limited tables of 2/4, you can avoid noisier larger groups. “Wow!! Great casual atmosphere, amazing service (we sat at the bar and had Emily tending to us—great info about our options and checked in on us “just right!”), and the. most. DELICIOUS food!! My wedge salad may have been the best I’ve ever had-Emily shared that they make their blue cheese dressing-I raved about the quality and the generous quantity! She’d also recommended the soup of the day that was also quite tasty & as she’d thought, it paired well with my main course-the Cajun pasta with andouille and chicken. The pasta was a great amount of spicy, richly creamy, and the tomato’s warm juiciness was a delightful addition! I stopped myself partway through that dish so I could try the crème brûlée cheesecake—YUM!! Rich, and I’m sure the cream it was garnished with was from scratch—somehow both light and rich!! Definitely must go back to try the other fun menu items!! Oh, I did trade a few bites with my husband who also loved the pasta; it afforded me the chance to try their burger—perfectly cooked, juicy and TASTY under the melted white cheddar & bacon!!“

“The BEST grilled cheese place! It’s reasonably priced and has a TON of flavor. The Texas cheesesteak grilled cheese is very very good. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese is delicious as well! The garlic Fries.. may be the best fries I’ve ever had. It was so good, I ended up buying an order to-go. I recommend wholeheartedly!“

The cocktail selection was big and fancy. Really good all of them. A bit pricey but definitely a recommended date night.

My only complaint is the membership, which only gets you access to the bar. Which is a great bar... But there's several other great bars without a membership that requires you put your credit card number, works as a yearly subscription that if you cancel, you lose the rest of the year.... Kinda predatory.

So since we're being predatory, I'm gonna complain about a lot of petty stuff as well.
-Some of the staff was dressed very casual. Not uniformly. Not what I expect from a club I'm paying a membership.
- bathrooms toilet was not flushed when I'm coming in. Pretty not membership worthy.
- water is tap water. And the one that taste bad. You can buy 24 water bottle pack with half of one membership.

What am I paying for?

Anyways. Besides those predatory practice, it is a great place with great food and great drinks. Just had to speak my mind“

“This place was so good and the vibe was really cozy! I got the ginger orange agua fresca, then we got the Ahi Tuna tostada to split and the coconut shrimp tacos that came with black beans and rice, as well as the fish tacos. The agua fresca, ahi tuna app, and coconut tacos were my favorite! Our waitress was so sweet and awesome - and the price point was not too bad for 2 people for dinner! Will definitely be back.“

“Ho Ho is my partner and I’s go to spot for Chinese food in Charlotte. It’s nice that we are able to order all vegetarian; we usually get the spring rolls, fried rice, crab rangoon, and sesame tofu. The food is always very tasty, and it’s a pretty good bang for your buck. Also, the woman who hands us our food when we pick up always brightens our day, she’s very polite and always seems happy to see us.“

Plane was delayed 3 and 1/2 hours so I got stuck here... And surprise surprise, an amazingly curated '70s playlist playing overhead on a pretty decent speaker system. Really kind of nice. I've got to ask if it's Spotify, or what?... I'm nostalgically enjoying a glass of wine and memories of high school and my first two years of college. So how fun is that? Also they have a fun little line list... Actually discovered a newTempranillo(Marques de Caceres).
Plus the wait staff is fast friendly and intelligent. So what's not to like? If you're in terminal C and you're waiting for a plane this is not a bad place to be.“

“Chose restaurant due to proximity to show I was attending. Was disappointed with menu. Was very limited with mostly burgers and sandwiches/wraps as entrees. All four of us ended up with same salad with a protein. Was predictable but fine. Cocktail options were heavy bourbon/rye. Surprised the breadth was limited here too.“

We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

If you ever need food catered or are anywhere near the Mecklenburg Market at 1515 Harding Place in Charlotte, you HAVE to stop by and grab some of her amazing food!!“
