“This place is amazing! In my whole life I've never gotten such large, wonderful servings. I've been to sushi bars all over the world and I even worked at one for 4 years. So I know what I'm talking about.
On the volcano roll, usually you would get tiny minced up bay scallops and instead there is huge sea scallops and shrimp. It's amazing! Totally unexpected. The scallops are bigger than the roll in diameter. So cool!! 🤩
The Philly roll has huge pieces of smoked salmon. Possibly even smoked locally, it has a beautiful color like a pink sapphire. I couldn't be happier. I wish we had one of these where I lived. I would order from here exclusively.
This puts the sushi at the casino to shame!
Do yourself a favor and get a few rolls from this place and you will not be disappointed.

“The food and service were outstanding. Though, we were not in the mood for the rock n roll music coming from the casino and there really is not much ambiance. Nevertheless, we wanted wellies, and we got them, and the food was high quality and delicious. Our waitress was lovely and the hostess energetically wished us a very happy wedding anniversary as we arrived and again as we departed, and we are grateful for that.“

“We ate dinner there on a Monday, 9/25/23 while on our 50th anniversary vacation. We chose the outdoor seating. My wife got the vegetarian tacos with a side of sweet potato tots. I got the fried shrimp tacos with a chef’s side of maple balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. The food was fantastic and a big thanks to our server, Eliza C., who was super! We highly recommend Foragers“

“We had two signature items from the menu that we have had many times. Not up to par this time (9-21-22). French onion soup was like warm. Mediterranean appetizer over browned. Italian pasta salad needed more oil and grated cheese. The added tofu was practically burnt and flavorless.“

“My family and are I are extra thankful this year for the kindness and generosity of Jeff and Pam Pulley, the owners of Mountain Perks Espresso Bar & Cafe. Two weeks ago, my kids and I came to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express train with friends. GPS said I was only .5 of a mile away from my destination, but my car got stuck on the rocky road on a very steep mountain and I had no cell service. Turns out I inadvertently got lost very high up on the mountain (later we would found out I was 20 minutes away from the house we were staying). My kids and I walked to the nearest house that had a light on, and by the grace of God, Jeff and Pam took us in and helped us. Jeff and his neighbor, Keith, also got my car out of the ditch I backed into, and my kids and I were still able to make the train ride. Jeff and Pam didn’t have to open up their door and help three complete strangers, but they did with open arms. Jeff and Keith didn’t have to get my car out, but they did. Let this story remind you that there are truly amazing people in this world; Jeff and Pam (and Keith) are angels walking among us! My kids and I visited Jeff and Pam at their coffee shop the next morning, and let me just say, their food and coffee are delicious! I highly recommend going there if you are ever in Bryson City, and they are located right across from the train station!“

“I've been trading with Mr Ralph Carico for at least 2 years and so far, he’s very good, intuitive Trader, honest, and you can trade fractional shares, which is a huge advantage for those who are starting out with smaller accounts/amount. Plus, He’s trustworthy and regulated account manager Ralph Carico“

“This was a terrible experience, not just by me but all the guests around me experienced the same horrible evening. Sadly it's not the first time, Ruth Chris in the casino is absolutely the worst one in the country. I don't understand why the casino continues to value them here. They should emptied it out and replace it with a better steakhouse brand or Gordon Ramsay.  Stop renewing their contract!“
