“Learned about this place in Blue Ridge Motorcycling magazine and stopped in today 12/20/2023 after visiting Chimney Rock SP. Glad I saw the article and stopped in cuz this place is awesome! I had the special which was a Blackened Shrimp PoBoy, my wife had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and my son had the Pork Nachos. It was all delicious! And don't forget the cole slaw on the side because it's the best cole slaw I've ever had. I'm not really a cole slaw guy, but I ate mine and scavenged the table to finish off everyone else's! The Nachos were piled high with pork and cheese. Their pork has a deliciously smoky flavor. Add in a basket of oven braised brussels sprouts....you won't be sorry you did! I washed it all down with a Devils' Head Red Ale which was excellent. And it was all served by great folks that made sure our visit was enjoyable. Oh, and they have several levels of deck so you can have a seat overlooking the river, or sit so close to it that there are signs about swimming!
